Reluctantly selling my city bike as I need to free up space in the bike shed, so need drop handlebars.
I bought it new from Evans in June 2018. It's been used for light commute/pub duties (I don't commute to the office), I haven't logged those rides on Strava, but I don't think it's got even 1,000km in it. It's been serviced by Evans after 6 months when I reckoned it clocked 200km to speak of, and I also replaced the chain at some point because the old one was prone to rusting. Tyres are Kenda Kwest 32s tubed. Wheels come with anti-theft thru axels, so I only ever needed to lock the frame. Comes with mudguards, but without the Carradice stabiliser which I will remove for sale. It's got some marks on the top tube from the D-lock, and scratches on outer grip protectors which were there before the purchase, but other than that top cosmetic condition. It has lugs for panniers.Frame is M, I'm 5'10" and my position is pretty upright on it, so there is room either way.
£250 to speed it all up. Available to view in SW9 just off Brixton Road. Prefer cash on collection. Open to sensible offers.
The stem is 90. I mean, I don’t think handling will suffer too much if you swap that for a 70, as it’s a stable bike with a long wheelbase. I can tell you I feel very upright on it after my road bike, but I guess your partner should try it for the fit, might as well work.
