I have a LG5K2K (ultrawide 34", flat) as my main display on a doubled up ergotron (which is normally single, I just bought another one on sale and stacked the arms on top of each other)
For my secondary display I have the Macbook Pro 13" below it. I usually use it for keeping an eye on Whatsapp and/or Zoom calls (because onboard webcam). The macbook screen is sometimes also used for video podcasts. On the second monitor arm I have an iiyama 27" 4K, mostly off, when I turn it on I'm either watching cycling all day or doing electronics-cookery (which needs multiple big screens to look at schematic and pcb layout at the same time) or something.
I used to have a Dell u2415 (1200p) on that arm, now it's moved to Zwifting duties on top of a bookcase (not billy, a shorter one) just next to my main work area, and connected to a Zwift-dedicated Apple TV. Bottom two shelves of that bookcase contains two Vacmaster Cardio fans. The iiyama on the ergotron can then pivot to the other side where I have my turbo setup, and act as a second screen of endless B99 or the office (or YT) episodes. I also have a video cable running from the Dell to the desk in case I want to swap the video for some reason (zwift running on mac but on the top-screen, appletv on iiyama monitor) but I might just pack it at this point, have never used it.

If anybody else is after a more current (not the most current...) iPhone, here's a 12 Pro I'm selling: https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/391501/

To add insult to injury they're suggesting to replace 10 radiators (!) so it's £3k after the BUS grant for us. Maybe just get a combi (when the boiler breaks in a few years) and let the next owners handle it in a few years?
This sounds more hassle and money than you'll be saving. Get a decent new combi and some smart controls, and leave the rest to someone else to worry about.
The combi quote from BG (yuck) came in at £4,300 for a 30kW Vaillant 830 (rear flue requirement limits us to Vaillant apparently?) and in the meantime I learnt that we don't need to cap off gas (as long as it's not used for heating) and can keep the gas-hob range cooker. So all in all the costs would be about the same (£3k + £300 for planning + £500-900 for structural eng stuff + chimney block) of course we'd need to repaint some walls where the new radiators are shorter and thicker.
The loft insulation top-up doesn't seem to be in the requirements list, granted it's a good thing to do and we should do it anyway and we will, but nice that we're not held up to that before the works can go forward.

Also about to put a deposit down on 14 solar panels and a 7kWh battery to be installed in the new year.
In addition to the ASHP woes above, I've talked to (and paid £500 to) Octopus about a solar survey. They reckon they can get 5 panels maximum on SW side, but the NE of the house has more potential... Not feeling it for just 5 panels (£5400 for just panels, +£3k for 5.2kWh battery) so if the NE thing doesn't work out, I won't go forward and hopefully will get my deposit back.

Octopus ASHP woes:
Apparently a structural engineer report/survey is needed to install the unvented cylinder (200L capacity + 50kg) in the airing cupboard, which currently has a 140 litre vented one. If its built for 140 litres 25 years ago, it should be able to support triple that if not more. £400 down the drain (still getting quotes, some were in the vicinity of £700+VAT)
Noise level to adjacent property would be 1dB higher (maybe) so we'll need to apply for a planning permission, even though it was a BS back-of-the-napkin calculation by the surveyor. They'll offer simple guidance in filling several forms but that's it. More ££
It's going on the front of the house adjacent to my office (was the "dining room", but we chose to eat in the cramped kitchen or conservatory instead) so I'm not sure of the noise levels on the other wide of the (double, cavity insulated) wall.
Our 80A main fuse needs to be upgraded to 100A but it still won't be enough if we don't decommission our electric shower, which we obviously will anyway. But needs more funds to get the plumber out to replace the bathtub-mounted taps to add a shower thingy.
They can't start the work without getting the supply unlooped, which we're waiting for 2 months and nothing has happened yet. More, next door has just sold so if the DNO comes and wants to dig out their front garden it will be interesting.
The hobs are gas, so we'd also need to replace the range cooker, which is another ~£1.5k down the drain. Since it's already on a separate 32A for its multiple ovens I don't think more electrics are needed.
Oh and we'd need to block off the chimney/flue/whatever. Which I'm fine with, but that's another cost item (and a person to deal with).

It was a hassle to set up with the given instructions so that at one point I gave up setting it as it was intended and compiled a custom one from source code, with my tile data baked in. Then I found out about http://www.shmo.de/EveryTile/ which makes it easy.

Same here, no issues in 15 Pro (and wireless charging also works... if I don't use quad lock that is. Ordered a Peak Design case but seems a bit too expensive for what it is)
Upgraded from 14 Pro, wasn't a necessary upgrade but 14 Pro went to wifey this way and I love a standard port. I wish there was a way to swap the Airpods 2 Pro case with the usb-C one though (there isn't).

Octopus now quoting fixed cost upgrades (with Daikin HP and water cylinders)
They also announced their in-house ASHP and ‘friends’ -

- As a witness, yes. You can claim your transpo costs within reason etc.
- From my cycle insurance when I was the victim (for damaged hydro STIs), yes
- (Same case) From the guilty party when he 'left hooked' me with his huge car, he paid some (in addition to extra training + maybe some points?) but I don't really remember if I got any of it or not, was in 2019.

Not sure what the court appearance will entail yet.
You'll wait a bit (maybe half hour, depending) in the waiting room before they call you to the courtroom. If the defendant doesn't show then you don't need to testify. Giving testimony is basically answering questions and clarifying things with the magistrates, sometimes multiple times. Your video may or may not get shown in court depending on the prosecutor's tactics. You won't be able to view the proceedings before it's your turn to give testimony, afterwards you can sit and watch the rest. The prosecutor will brief you in the waiting room first. The toilet might have a coded lock. :)
Two court appearences so far, one of which I didn't need to give testimony. Positive outcomes.

There’s no BT line, not sure about how the FTTH is powered. Could always add a 4G dongle to the AP, still would need power to another AP at another location (which is the wfh office - granted that could also be a larger power station that way I could also power the displays…)
I agree adding tado to the list above was not necessary :-) House batt and solar would be 20-50 times more expensive than what I have in mind, plus might have to deal with bad workmanship.

Looking for a 'battery backup' to provide my modem/WiFi and other things with 12v and 5v. Maybe 50W or so of power, passthrough charging and preferably screw terminals for output. But I want LiFePO4 cells, not regular Li-Ion/LiPo chemistry.
All options I could find were camping-oriented 'power station's with 240V inverters etc. on them (with huge capacity), so the price jumps to £300-£800 range as opposed to what would be a £50 gadget. I would get more than one to power multiple APs + hue/Tado/blink etc. I don't want to just use a passthrough powerbank and run the cells flat in a few months/years, if not worse.
I could get a LiFePO4 pack from HobbyKing, a chemistry-specific charger circuit and bunch of buck-boost regulators and make it a project but I don't want to do that. To make it viable you'd need
to design cooling, a case and other not-fun things, where I just want to get a few and set it up. -
Me too, my first EV-item (the electroverse card). I still don't have a car (accountant is slow) nor a charge point (installers are busy) though...
Turns out we have a looped connection to next door, thin tails into the consumer unit (luckily just on the other side of the wall...), lacking mains cutoff switch, and an unknown value (60A if lucky) fuse. Called National Grid to get things started (at least to get in the 'queue' to get the conn 'unlooped') but the form they sent me is extra leccy-technical so it'll have to wait for the installers to fill out.
In the meantime I found out both bonding wires to the water pipes are flapping in the wind, one of them even missing the bonding clamp. £2 fix from B&Q.

Gearing up to lease a car (a "MYLR" as the youngsters say) for the next 2 years (1 year upfront). Financing wise I think this is the better option for my personal LTD, but this is the first time I've even considered it. I've asked the accountant but if you have any input or recommendations I'll gladly take them.
