@pjhobs
Ooooohhh that’s what I’m talking about!
Who made that for you? I was looking at some custom builders. Burls look good but were a little out of my price range but £700 is an absolute bargain for the frame alone. I’m happy to slowly build up the other components as and when I can afford them. -

@scotts I hadn’t seen the AWOL before. What is it about them that appeals? They look like they can take an ever chunkier tyre. Are they any bigger than the likes of the Diverge 64cm?

Haha I know the feeling @Bigteef. Buying bike stuff is defo my form of escapism. My partner watches Netflix, I buy bikes I can’t afford 😂
I’m on the look out for an ‘adventure/gravel’ bike if anyone has anything they’re not using? Or even if you fellow big fellas have any advice on what you’ve ridden that works for you?
I’m 6ft 9. -

Ahh I hadn’t seen this. I’ll give it a watch. Thanks @190-215GPa
I’ve been looking faaar to much at custom titanium frames for a gravel/adventure bike. I totally can’t afford it but can’t stop perving haha

If anyone is wanting to hit the trails on a full suspension set of wheels this one is pretty hefty and ending on eBay this afternoon!

Sorry, yes I did mean 3XL. It was a frame VERY kindly donated to me by another big fella from LFGSS. The bottom bracket shell had come loose from the carbon frame so it had been replaced under warranty.
I managed to get it down to Argos who kindly glued it back in. I realise it probably won’t last forever but it’s a good fun ride while it does!
I’ve read that the 64cm Specialized Diverge is probably the biggest gravel/adventure bike out there but they’re a bit out of my budget. I always keep a close eye on what Conor Dunne who presents GCN is riding as he’s about the same height as me but never sure if he rides Canyon and Orbea cause GCN have sponsorship with them? -

Hello all!
I’m after a bit of advice.
I’m wanting to buy my sis a bike for her birthday and although I know a bit about bikes for men I’m not sure if there are other things I should consider when buying for a woman (geometry/fit etc)?
She’s after a road bike to keep fit, she’ll not be doing huge distances on it (probs no more than 50km). It’ll be second hand as I have limited budget (probs no more than around £500) and probs steel or aluminium for cost. More endurance geo for comfort I think.
Any things I should consider and all recommendations really appreciated.
Thanks all!
Al
