As for the velo orange being an issue to install. Never really found them an issue. And once done no harder to take off and put back on again than any other.

Ever since hacking a set of inappropriate sized pdw fenders I switched to velo orange.
Not as matte but cheaper and do the job as well.

I've a 1x11 drop bar cantilever cross check and considering converting to a flat bar dad bike. Minimum spend. And still keeping it geared.
Anyone understand what levers/shifter/derailleur combos work?
I'm getting confused what levers work with standard pull and fit i spec shifters.

Am currently building up a neon orange for exactly the same reason. 700c Dyno road set and a 650b off road. Interested to know how the 2inch fit. Was thinking it might take a little more. Maybe 2.25 or even 2.4...

I had a Nelson longflap up front, used some velcro straps off Amazon and a small nitto rack.

Exactly what I got on my cross check.

I ran 38c with some smooth 45s, I wouldn't recommend going over that.
I also have the 52 Zeppelins on a cross check with 43c GKs. I don't think you'd get much more under.
