Thanks y'all. Condor were basically useless in identifying or helping. (Surprise?) I don't have callipers so with a bit of ruler measurement and angle guessing I think I have found something that will work. I've made an order and we'll see how i get on. Telling if the internal angle is 45 or 36 was much less easy than it sounds but using a bodgy method I think I figured it. Thanks again for the help. Wish me luck!

I have a condor 1 inch aheadset/ threadless headset (circa 2005) on my bike and the cartridge bearings are starting to give out. They don't have anything written on them, I have checked carefully. Condor don't stock them anymore and don't know what they are. Is there anyway I can find out? I can measure the inside and outside widths but what about the angles?
Are headset bearings the kind of thing regular bearing companies even stock?

I have another one, an ar13 I think, it is low profile, but not hugely more than the kask vertigo I had before. They all meet the EU standard so aren't they all basically as good as one another until you add MIPS? That is what I was hoping!

When you say an old skool helmet, how old skool do you mean? Ekoi Legende looks almost like a leather helmet. I like their helmets a lot in general.

Does anyone know, do all the planet X/carnac helmets fit the same? I got one to try (a croix) because it was a tenner and looked ok enough but it is a bit skinny for my head. They are so cheap I'd be happy to try a different model but if they are all made with the mold or however, they just aren't going to work. Any insights?
