Amazing piece of kit but I'm not sure how much use I'll get out of it.

Super warm - only requires a base-layer underneath. Really soft and comfortable inner lining. I think I run pretty hot so this is just a bit much for me. I also didn't really get on with the built in snood. I'll probably regret selling this in 2 months...

Sorry can’t remember exactly when I bought the wheels. The fulcrum came off my old bike - maybe 2 years old? The front RS21 is about a year I think.

My bad - hadn’t read the rules properly! eBay listing ended.

I'm selling my Vitus 979, Jan Janssen limited edition, with full Shimano Ultegra 6400 (Shimano 600 Tricolor) including STI shifters. This limited edition was marketed in the Netherlands under the name of the Dutch World Champion and winner of the Tour de France, Jan Janssen. 

This is an early aluminium frame constructed by bonding the parts instead of welding. Have a read online about them, they really are quite unique.

This frame isn't in the neatest condition - it's got plenty of nicks and scratches, but might come up nice with a bit of a polish. I've given it a quick clean but could do with something more thorough. The decals should probably be removed as they're pretty tatty.

It has just been fitted with a brand new bottom bracket (Shimano BB-UN55) by the local bike shop. The old BB was slightly too short, meaning the inner chain ring brushed the frame. You can see the wear clearly on the frame.

As previously mentioned, it has full Shimano Ultegra 6400 groupset, which I presume to be original. Shifters working fine but pretty battered and missing the '600' caps on the front.

The original wheelset had Shimano 600 Tricolor hubs, matching the rest of the bike, with Mavic Open CD rims.  I may have these somewhere, if anyone was interested.

• Seat Tube = 57cm CtC (58.5cm CtT)
  
• 170mm crank arms
  
• 52/39 chainset
  
  

It's just had a tune up at the local shop so it's ready to ride.
