As the world continues to turn and the people and places we have come to rely upon for some succour leave us, let us dwell on the one thing upon which we can rely: Stickers.
Hayley's family would like to sticker up her coffin and urn and have asked if anyone on the forum has cool stickers they would like to donate.
Please reply to this message if you would like the address to send stickers to.

Various of hayley's f+f have mentioned to me that they're reading the thread, some for the first time which is kind of funny. I feel like I need to provide them with a crash course in bike aesthetics and culture so that they can understand just how good Hayley's approach to it all was.
I'm in touch with whoever, so if anyone wants to send something specific along let me know.

I know it's fucked without her right now, but it really feels the reason we all know hayley is that she was so dedicated to pals hanging out and chatting shit, whether online, in forums, irl, the groupchat, whatever.
I understand feeling low about everywhere you used to see her, but I would miss your posts if you didn't upload as much.
Bike looks sick. Hope you've been getting the wattage up because I reckon it'll take some grunt to get it up to speed.

My family has moved into a big house and realised they can't really afford to heat it as it stands. They have some cash to spend in improvements, but mostly seem interested in getting solar and cache batteries, whilst heating the house with plug in electric heaters. Intuitively I feel like they should look to improving insulation and using the gas central heating. I've no numbers to back any of this up. It just feels like the better idea in the long run (they don't think they'll live here for longer than 20 years)
Does anyone recommend a service where people come round and look at all your stuff and assess what would be best to do? They won't listen to me but they may listen to someone like that. They're in Leicester rather than London (or they wouldn't have bought a big house) but I would appreciate knowing ball park how much such a service would cost.
They gave an EPC but don't seem that interested in it.

Anyone toured in Taiwan?
I'm in the planning stages. Currently thinking 3 weeks in November, 3 days in Taipei, cycle around for 2 weeks (probably with some rest days) then another 4 days in Taipei.
Think I'm going to risk doing it without a tent but obviously could change that nearer to the date.
Vibes as always are no lycra, normal shoes, having fun, buying cool shit, seeing if I can arrange a date with a local, etc.
Anyone been there? Any intel? Routes?

All kinds of swings and roundabouts but I've never liked how any of my bikes except touring bikes handle with a touring load exclusively in the back. Most rear racks don't actually get the weight that low either, certainly not compared to front racks.
All horses for courses depending on your bike, your load, your terrain, what gear guy can borrow and your preference.
In the end unless you're getting paid for your performance the most important factor is do you like it or not.
Hey everyone, Hayley's funeral will be on the 13th in London. There will also likely be a reception in a pub.
It will be open to all who knew Hayley, there will also likely be a reception. If you would like to come please message me and I'll forward the details.
