Did not particularly enjoy my claim with Pedal Cover. But I did claim at the time they were transitioning over to Yellow Jersey after being bought out. They basically tried to assess my claim based on Yellow Jersey policy terms despite there being major differences in the policy wording. Had to threaten to get lawyers involved before they would play ball, so it left quite a sour taste behind.

I had success with a stubborn insurer by reminding them that if a component failed after being cleared to ride by them (or their chosen assessor in my case) their liability for my potential injuries and loss of earnings would far exceed the cost of replacing the component. They stopped arguing after that.

I thought I'd left a pair of cleats on but I evidently removed them so I'll do the shoes for £40 posted

Post Xmas clear out required
SOLD £40 - 100% S2 sunglasses in soft gold with spare clear lens and nose piece and carry case. One small scratch on the gold lens (pictured) but otherwise in great condition.
SOLD £10 Ray Ban wayfarers. Pretty standard gloss frame. I've had these for several years and the frame has quite a few scratches. No case for these ones.
SOLD £40 Ray Ban Aviators. Silver frame with black lens. I've decided I look like a total wanker in these. Very little use, excellent condition.
SOLD £5 Specialized Power saddle, 143mm. This is the base model, maybe the Sport? Couldn't tell you. It's been on a gravel bike for a few years, and has the scars to show. Still works though, no cracks in the shell and the padding is still spongey.
£35 Praxis Buzz 52t chainring - probably seen 10k dry km (was mounted on the summer bike) so in very good condition still (I'm pretty OCD with keeping my chains clean)
£15 6800 52t chainring - maybe 8k km across a couple of bikes, still in good nick as I quickly realised it was sub optimal gearing for a gravel bike.
£30 R8010 direct mount Ultegra rim brake callipers - couple of small marks but they were on a summer bike so in very good condition still. Can supply with one set of Dura ace pads if needed.
£40 Bont Riot+ MTB shoes 47EU - never really fit me well so didn't get much use. Comes with cleats. Heat mouldable sole.
Collection from N1 preferred but happy to post if buyer covers postage.
Cheers,

Fair enough, although that's arguably a worse place to break your leg.
It was a strange match, Everton seemed to feed off the tension in the stadium and went flying into tackles. Mike Dean totally lost control of the match and Arsenal players retreated into their shells. I'm pretty disappointed the Arsenal players didn't stand up for their mate after the Godfrey stamp.

I'd echo the recommendation for Martin over at Arkane wheels. My 40mm carbon wheels laced to Hope hubs with Pillar aero spokes came in around £850. Don't quote me on this but I'm pretty sure he uses Light Bicycle rims for builds. Probably comes out a bit more expensive than if you sourced the rims yourself and had him build them but there's much less wait time going direct to Martin.

Not sure where to put this, but would a local machinist be able to make a small direct mount rim brake calliper adapter if I brought them the technical diagram?
I need a small adapter to make the brakes work with my frame, but Cane Creek no longer make it and it seems to be out of stock everywhere in the world. They did however send me the technical diagram with angles, measurements, thread pitches etc

Terrible tackle - even if his foot doesn't bounce off the ball the follow through would've seen his studs connect with Hendersons ankle.
Yes I'm an Arsenal fan but I can't understand how this wasn't a red but Xhaka got a red against City earlier this season for a cleaner tackle (although admittedly still a studs up lunge). It's the inconsistency in refereeing that drives me mad.
Got some direct mount brakes going if that's helpful
