The Vuelta is having a stage start in a Carrefour. I feel like they are missing a trick here. Would be the perfect location for a sprint finish where the aisles could serve as the sprint lanes.

He said in interviews he struggled early on in the descent. Wobbly road surface reminding him of his crash in Basque country + melting ice water. So he took it easy.
Seems like it turned out OK in the end placing 2nd, but he will probably be put under pressure in the future on descends.

I like this premise, but I heard that those big retailers use it to claim some kind of gift aid/write off donations, so you end up helping the big company pay less tax more than helping the charity get extra pennies. Any truth to that?

As to the WVA chat, I'm more and more convinced he's just seeing the Tour as training at this point. All geared towards getting double gold in Glasgow.
His wife is very pregnant so he might need to go home at any point (he has said he would if baby was on it's way), so he doesn't bother with the green either.

My cousin shattered both his ankles in his early 30s in a dirt bike accident when he overshot his landing.
His wife wasn't too keen on him continuing his hobby anymore so he took up MTB instead. Now some 10 years later he's a more than decent mountain biker / cyclist, having completed Roc d'Azur.
Your ankle will take time to heal, but there's hope just yet -

We did the tipi thing this year and for 120 people it was considerably lower than that.If it's a field you have with nothing else, don't forget to factor in a generator, water, toilets and then of course tables, chairs, a gazebo for the caterers and what not.
