This has been an awesome bike while I needed one inexpensive bike to do a few things.
I've done two short tours with panniers. I've commuted a little and rode it on the paths and old railway lines round mine.
It'll take 700x50 with guards. Pictured. Sweet lord!!
I've had it with 2.0 x29 up front and 1.8x29 in rear for off road
I've had it 700x38 with guards for faster road ridingIt's got, many of these I bought new when I got the original bike as it was a bit shonky
Deore hubs on mach240 touring style rims. I bought these new
V brake or canti obvs
Clarke's brake levers
Deore calipers
Xt cranks hollowtech
1x9 deore drivetrain with superstar front ring 32t
Currently 700x47 continental tour tyres
Titanium rail saddle...no idea of make
135 qr rear dropout
Have had it quite sprightly , currently heavy duty tour modeI'll need to keep the mudguards and probably the shifter. Can offer various stem options as it needs quill or quill adapter.
I'll split....but not yet as no time to do this atm. Prefer sell whole bike if poss
Sorry can't post.
Ng25 location or can travel a bit.200 notes all in. Reckon I paid 150 for the wheels. Plus some additional or alternative tyres I'm sure I can find if you want....
Can do more pics if any interest
Got to be the OG do it all. If it had discs and 1 1/8th it'd bee on point right?!?!
Think I've got some. Flared drops and dia compe levers too...for extra through....
Oh yeah....size....set up for at 5ft 10. Think it's a 58cm. I went for it, as the large size had nice tall head tube
Cheers
