XC 70 is winning at the moment as could get one with the T6 engine and 300bhp but the s max does look like the more sensible option.

I would like to re plaster this fireplace arch and sides, should I just get someone in to do it or is getting the arch perfect diy-able? I'd imagine getting someone in to do it would be £150+.

I recently had fibre installed, so finally started making use of the 20 (seriously) ethernet ports throughout the house (thanks prev owner).

I have deco setup via ethernet backhaul,which means I've gone from 20 to 500 in my office, whoop.

But I've got one big problem, devices just refuse to pick the best signal. I can be stood next to a node and it will still connect to the node across the other side of the house. To the point where I have setup a separate office network to avoid devices connecting to it. The problem still persists with the others but I don't fancy running 3 separate networks.

Am I doing it wrong? Is deco a bit shit?

I have the pleasure of driving through sandy lane a lot. Nice thatched cottages but the roads very busy.

Spent the day on Salisbury plains riding a Fantic xef250 with Phoenix trails a couple of weeks back. Can highly recommend it, 6hrs of riding trails and only one gate to open. Annoyingly the itch is even greater for a trail bike now.

Was nearly sent to the shadow realm by a speeding taxi, joining the road from some of the trails involve blind corners and you just need to cross your toes.

Hunt trail wide 27.5 opinions? Currently between them or Hope Fortus.

I'd skip the A4 s line unless you are mainly on motorways, went for a drive last night and I can feel every bump. To the point I've always been interested in switching for an A6 all road or similar with adaptive suspension.

What year of A4 Avant are you looking at I have a 16 plate 2L quattro I'm thinking of selling. It's on 83,000

Ad blue tank replaced
AC pressure sensor
Brake pressure sensor
All front end bushings

I average 43 mpg locally but I'm always in sport/dynamic.

It's plenty quick, especially from a stand still.

Ride is harsh but it's on 19" wheels and has s line suspension.

I do have a garage it's just not attached to my house, it even has an entrance gate to get in.

Surprisingly the Honda CRF300 Rally is more expensive to insure

I have the itch again... Then I'm reminded how rubbish insurance is when you don't have a garage near your house. I can insure a 6.3 litre V8 mercedes (I've had my car license for less than 2 years) for less than most of the bikes I'm interested in.

Currently looking at XC70 with the T6 engine. 300bhp and most importantly for me not diesel (short journeys) but yes a 2012 goes for around 12k, so not set on buying one yet.

Have this for a few days as my A4 is stuck on a ramp (snapped bolt, unable to remove), had to double check the mileage on it as it only had 60 miles. Such a bore to drive, don't really see the appeal in the shape either.

I can't get my MK5 TDI to go above 60, which makes going up hill fun. Had a bus try to overtake and hilariously get stuck going the same speed. I never really notice it as I rarely head out of town with it but knew there was a problem when I pulled onto the dual carriage way and was making no progress.

Cars booked in for a service next week and have asked them to investigate. I'm close to scrapping it as the back doors now don't lock.

Any ideas on what it could be? I should probably buy a scanner.
