Prices are all over the place but I don't want a pristine example as it will get a few dings down the lanes and I've just the other week replaced a tail light on the Audi due to a tree, I wasn't driving...

C63 wagon w204 or Cayenne Turbo 957? My plan is to sell my A4 avant as it's TDI and not being used for what its best at (motorway) and run the C63 or Turbo for a year whilst I'm not doing many miles and to just have the V8 experience before I move over to electric at some point.

My uncle had a C63 wagon when I was living with him in Aus and have lusted after one for 10 years now. I also think the value will hold and I can re sell it for same or a small profit.

The Turbo appeals for pure functionality in the country side (dog walks, towing etc), will be hard to find a good one and the price is trending down.

Anyone have experience of either?

EGR valve? if you go on any car specific facebook group e.g. Audi B9 TDI its just people talking about removing the DPF, AdBlue and EGR valve, which makes your car stink.

I think with diesel just keeping on top of your servicing, using a fuel additive and/or premium fuel and some regular long trips keeps it going.

The torque on a diesel engine is a lot of fun, interesting that Audi moved to diesel for their S models

I've been meaning to investigate for a while, is it normal for some electrical appliances to have an audible humming noise, when switched on at the socket? Biggest culprit is the air fryer which I switch off at the wall. EICR passed which I did when we moved in.

The electric smart meter is a noisy fucker too.

Bristol has to be one of the worst cities to drive around, if I lived there I'd never use a car, never mind something big/wide.

Main gripe is cars double parked for a few hundred meters which makes meeting a car coming the other way a right pain in the arse.
