I think vaccination coverage is never likely to exceed 90-95%+ and the closer we get to that final figure the slower the total grind up will be.
We need to consider that missing percentage with current vaccine effectiveness. It will always be a big number and semi locking down indefinitely isn't an answer.
I think masks v no masks is fairly unimportant in the big picture.

This is a pretty tough read - https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2021/jun/28/the-anxiety-is-palpable-eu-citizens-face-looming-settled-status-deadline
There absolutely should be an extension and I don't see it as a failure on any side that it is required.

Has this been discussed yet? https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/jun/22/eu-to-lift-its-ban-on-feeding-animal-remains-to-domestic-livestock
What impact will it have on any future food standard alignment?

Ah I was suckered in by "Sussex Uni" and skimmed past the Facebook data source... slightly more dubious now.
Read somewhere else that 80% of brits in the EU are of working age, think we can #debunk the little englisher brexit voter, down the cafe wearing a union jack stereotype.

Brits abroad have been constantly mocked on this thread/forum. This will continue when the first ones are shipped back because they failed to fill out the correct form because they don't speak the local tongue.
I was adding the overall figures to the discussion because they are useful for balance and I do think processing double the expected number of applications to be doing OK.

Double jab requirement for nightclubs is a good move.
Think it should have been implemented from today.
