I used the search function, I used google with 'lfgss'. I found nothing. I have noob questions. I imagine other people have noob questions too, maybe they could all go in this thread? And if we ask nicely and seem appropriately humble, maybe more experienced forum users could answer them?! :D
I'm buying a wheelset, I really don't want a noisy freewheel. Are all freewheels loud? Do I find a quiet one just by looking through reviews?

I bought this bike off @Vince in April for my gf, so as you can imagine, I received it in perfect condition, with new tyres and brake pads and a fresh service. Unfortunately my gf turned out to be less interested in bikes than I had thought :D I've ridden it twice since buying it and it rolls like a dream.
It is broadly a 54cm frame (ST is 56cm CTT, TT is 54cm projected).
Built in 1983 from 2040 steel (equivalent to Reynolds 501)
700c steel clincher wheels on Shimano hubs (hyperglide rear hub that takes cassettes to you could go for 6 or 7 speeds).
Shimano Adamas AX double chainset.
Huret 2x5 gearset with stem shifters mounted on the stem so very easy to use.
Mudguards, dynamo, swept back bars, rear rack - all steel!The cosmetic condition is good with only some surface scratches and it has seen very few miles.
Work done on the bike:
Trued the wheels;
Fitted new Hutchinson Nitro2 700 x 25mm tyres;
Fitted new steel specific Fibres brake blocks all around;
Fitted new inner/outer brake cables; and
Adjusted gears, headset and bottom bracket.
All in a great bike, ready to roll - it is a very smooth ride so come and try it.Test rides from Balham. Like Vince, I'll ask for £150.
Cheers

I was riding with le @Chung so no need for an individual report, but I wanted to give a shoutout to the peng(e) crew. Heard a lot about/saw several of the riders and it was always positive.

I'm tall and I'm looking at compensating for a frame that's just slightly on the short side for me by getting 200mm cranks to replace my current 175mm cranks. Are there any compatibility issues with getting longer cranks or would it just be some pedal strike if I didn't keep my mind tuned in while cornering?
Thanks
