The last half a year has been hectic, with two apartment moves (one internationally), and then living out of a duffel bag for a 6 week research trip in Peru followed by academic conferences. But now settling into being in Berlin for the majority of my time.

Damn! Very glad it wasn’t a successful theft despite no lack of effort on their part it seems. Makes me even more dubious about our cellar set up in Berlin with the compartments being made of ancient rotting wood that could probably be pulled apart without breaking a sweat. What insurance do you/will you have?

TBH I think that’s a little bit on the low side. Yeh £30-40 is about the going rate for Thomson stems here (I’ve sold several in that range) and the general average seems to have crept up a bit over the years. But given that it’s the Cerakote one you might get £50-60 of someone’s keen on the colour.

Thanks for the response! It’s a couple of small hole on the front side at the upper thigh area so not too much of a high stretch location. I’m based in Switzerland/Germany unfortunately but I’ll get some patches next time I’m back in the UK. Cheers!

Yeh this is the one, somewhat excessive I know but I have poor circulation in my hands and find the regular crimp connectors a pain to get on/off when changing a flat in cold weather. Hoping this will be easier.

I have seen that you can buy a length of co-ax with the connector already attached though.

Hi all, does anyone have a shop recommendation for installing dynamo hub/light cabling?
More specifically, I want to use some SON parts which need to be soldered which I don't have the equipment for. Ideally I'd find somewhere that both stocks the parts and knows what they're doing.

It's actually one of the shimano di2 adhesive wiring strips. If everything clean they stick really nice, hasn't budged in 2+ years.

Rear light is one of the tiny B&M ones mounted on the fender

Yeh the 1st round of steel GXR frames. It's Zona tubing so not the most high spec and the chainstay yoke probably adds quite a bit of weight but I really like the ride. It's the only bike I've had a bike fit on so the position works well for me. There is defintely toe overlap with the fenders though, and I'm only on 170mm cranks. I would like to try it with 650b wheels at some point.

Also has T47 BB with the dynamo and Di2 wire routed through a hole in the bottom of the BB shell.

This was the frame I had modified for the internal Di2 and then touched up with spray paint. One day I would like to have it properly repainted but I think I'll wait a bit yet.

Was fortunate enough to be in the University bike workshop last year when some people were filming a build video and asked if the camera person could take some pics of my Curve that I was tidying up the cable routing on. These are nicer pictures than I could hope to take by a long way.

Yeh you could do dynamo routing as described by @b0n0rv2, I do exactly the same on my Curve. The only slight difficulty could be that the fork on the Pfadfinder doesn’t have an mount on the front of the fork crown so you would need one that uses the eyelet on the back to mount a light at the crown. This might get tight if you want to use mudguards as well. In this regard, the fairlight is probably a better option and also has internal dynamo routing down the fork leg but the paint jobs don’t really do it for me.

Pfadfinder would be a bit tricky for Dynamo routing. I think a bit of an under the radar option that ticks the boxes is the Meteor works Aesir. I have the Bombtrack Hook Ext C which is the Carbonda 696 but with a T47 BB and it is very good!
