Hi @1ofBTNFixed, how much for the CdF, and what sort of condition are the chainrings/chain/cassette/BB in?

As per the title I'd like a geared road bike with a top tube of between 54 and 56cm. Preferably steel, also preferably with combined brake levers/shifters (STIs, ergos etc.)
Probably prefer shimano to campag. Ideally want to spend something around 300 but show me what you've got!
I'm based in Manchester but am down in London pretty regularly so will be able to collect.
Thanks in advance

As per the title, I would like some Shimano 105 or 600 toe clips please! Either the metal or the plastic ones will do. Preferably size medium (if they even came in sizes?)
Like these:
Or these:
To be honest, even just one clip will do as I'm sure I have one lying around somewhere. This will need posting unless you're based in Manchester.
Cheers

Sorry, I've just re-read that article and it is a lot more accelerationist than I remembered it being. I agree that framing FOM exclusively on a left/right-wing basis is foolish, but the moral case for FOM should be clear: all people are of equal worth, but people are economically and socially disadvantaged because of where they are born. It is jarring that Labour is a party that has a problem with immigration.

The idea that freedom of movement suppresses wages is a fallacy; I think the left should be defending it (although no one seems to be doing a very good job of this at the moment!)
Here's an article that makes the economic case for open borders if you're interested: https://theconversation.com/the-us-100-trillion-case-for-open-borders-72595

Oh, but Labour wants "the benefits of the SM" with no freedom of movement. Well, maybe they can budge on this and they already suggested. But then why put that message out there. I think that wasn't really a good move.
This for me is the biggest problem with Labour's Brexit policy. Firstly, as you say it has—justifiably—been denounced as 'cakeism'; secondly, and more importantly from a moral perspective, the left should be defending freedom of movement.

This is unfortunately true. See https://blog.lboro.ac.uk/crcc/general-election/media-coverage-of-the-2017-general-election-campaign-report-4/ and http://www.lse.ac.uk/media-and-communications/research/research-projects/representations-of-jeremy-corbyn for studies on press bias against labour.

If Corbyn put forward an elaborate EU withdrawal plan...
Exactly, particularly in the case of second referendum. There would have been no better way to unite the Tories than by calling for another referendum. That's not even taking into account the fact that there isn't a parliamentary (or public) mandate for one, and that without a different government in power, I doubt whether remain would even be on the ballot paper...
cheers but am after compact cranks. still looking!
