I'm trying to remove the brake lever from a Sram Force 10 speed set of shifters but there's a black plastic sleeve which needs to be removed as there is a circlip holding the pin in place. I have found one blog that says to gently pry it apart to get access to the circlip but it aint working and i'm slowly coming to the boil. any ideas or experiences welcome.
