My 13 year old was diagnosed with this nearly a decade ago and is still going strong with no signs of slowing down. One atenolol a day in with food and an aspirin twice a week. We stopped getting her scanned a few years ago as it wasn’t really telling us anything new but I can’t see that it’s limited her life at all. Fingers crossed you have a similar outcome, happy to talk here or via PM if you have any questions

My friends got me into American Football a couple of years ago via a fantasy league and it's now a Sunday night staple in my house. I don't really have a team other than watching out for whoever's on my fantasy team in any given season but have really enjoyed watching the Lions and Texans turn things around, particularly as I've ended up with half the Texans team in fantasy this year.
I came plum last in our league this year (only 4 teams so everyone has super teams), I had a lot of guys who were surefire big scorers in previous years but who had poor years this time round like Diggs, Kupp & Ekeler. We get to hold onto three players each year so I'm currently thinking Tyreek, CJ Stroud and then tossing up between Lamar and Garrett Wilson for the last one. Might seem odd but I'm thinking a potential post-superbowl dropoff for Lamar (who had a few shocking weeks early season this year), and that Wilson might finally pop off next year with Rogers as QB.
Does anyone else play and/or have any tips for the draft? My best year was when I had no idea and just let the computer play for me...

I recently wrote off my 4 seasons rear wheel thanks to an escapade with a stick and my drivetrain and several spokes being torn out of the rim. It was when Wiggle were doing silly prices on wheelsets so I bought a set of their Barodeurs and no longer need the Hunt front wheel.
I bought the wheels new in 2018 for a winter road build, they've been fantastically dependable since. They saw a lot of use their first couple of years but then Covid WFH and kids arriving on the scene mean they haven't been used much since. They've never needed truing and the hub is still very smooth.
I'll include a Shimano low profile lockring (uses a BB tool rather than a cassette tool to lock), which is needed on lots of forks due to the geometry of Hunt hubs. I'll also include the tubeless valve, which I've done my best to clear of old sealant, the six-bolt converter and a couple of spare spokes. This was originally used on a QR bike and then moved to a 12mm thru axle, which is how it's currently set up. I still have the QR ends somewhere so will dig them out and include in the sale.
These seem to be going for around £80 on the bay, so forum price of £60. I am in central every couple of weeks or can ship in a wheelbox for an extra tenner, or if you're near Reading you're welcome to pick it up.

The following have been running round my head since I was exposed to far too much CBeebies over lockdown, and the Christmas malaise has finally pushed me over the edge. Apologies in advance for:
Sarah and Cuck: A fly-on-the-wall documentary following the adventures of sexually adventurous Sarah and her long-suffering husband as they take their first steps in the world of hotwifing
Big Cock Little Cock: A weekly talkshow fronted by Kirsty Wark, in which two pundits on opposite ends of the endowment spectrum debate topical questions. Kirsty probes as to how their natural gifts (or lack thereof) have impacted their views
Bigot Town: A roving reporter collects vox pops on societal issues from the patrons of flat-rooved pubs. Maintains the theme tune and narration from Biggleton
Chuggington: Returns to said flat-rooved pubs five minutes before chucking out time to cover the downing of final pints, a scrap in the car park, and someone getting fingered by the bins
God Squad: Sitcom following a hapless bunch of evangelicals as they get into hilarious scrapes trying to save souls in the social media age.
Whore Patrol: Docu-drama covering the history of the Met's now defunct Clubs and Vice unit. They'll be there on the double...
Old Jack's Scrote: A self-explanatory short on the effects of aging on the male anatomy

Unfortunately it was all a bit of a rush getting back to my return train so no chance to stand around coughing whilst pretending I know how to smoke and hoping to pick up something juicy.
The booking in the office building was a bit of a damp squib too, some kind of start up incubator panel thing. I’ve no idea if it was affiliated to the conference or just an accident of timing and location. Maybe that’s how the next generation of sham PPE companies get started…

I'm on the train up to Manchester now for meetings in our office which is opposite where the conference is taking place. Apparently the bottom two floors have been taken over by some fringe event, no doubt full of swivel-eyed loons. Might have a look at how easy it is to set the sprinkler system off..

Don’t get me started on them. My wife bought a Pendleton E Bike (and yes I did warn her before her purchase) and has had no end of problems. She’s just got it back from having a whole new rear wheel fitted, following repeated spoke breakages, and she got it back with both brakes pulling all the way to the grips. Half an hour and a lot of swearing later and they’re no longer deathtraps but I do worry for people who don’t live with a semi-competent bike mechanic…

I'm 36, but got started early and was also the beneficiary of some hand-me-downs - the pirate ship came from a school friend of my sister who's just turned 40. My 'golden era' of Lego was probably around 1991-1996, I think the last big set I got was the 6991 space monorail and then as I got older computer games became the obsession...

My new not so sensible i4 family wagon arrived on the work scheme at the beginning of this month. I was going to get the 40 version but once you add a few basics to the spec it worked out about the same monthly cost as the M50 which has a very good base spec so I decided to go full silly.
It's a very comfy cruiser and I love all the tech, seems to have a real-world range of about 260 miles when motorway cruising in the winter. It gets to 60 frighteningly quickly but you can definitely feel the weight cornering compared to the TT - appreciating it's not exactly a fair comparison given the size difference.
