Not sure if any else had reported it. My solicitor didn't mention anything. It was touch and go whether it went to court. I was shitting myself incase it did and I lost the case cause the final bill was £11,000 which I would of probably had to pay.

2 years ago this month I posted about a pothole at Old Street roundabout where I came off and injured myself. Finally awarded compensation in the sum of £4000 less 25% for a no win no fee solicitors bill. I believe TFL were at fault.

@Oliver Schick Sorry bout posting here I didn't realise there was a separate thread. My apologies. Perhaps @Velocio can move it? I have taken photos and yes there is red lines. There was a couple of girls who helped me off the road and picked my bike up but unfortunately I was still in shock to ask for their numbers. I'm hoping there is CCTV. I've contacted a no win no fee solicitor to get things moving so I'll wait for their reply on the details I gave them. Cheers

Just got back from Northwick park hospital, Harrow. Coming off Old Street roundabout around 12.15pm this afternoon heading towards Angel and went down a pot hole causing me to go over the handlebars resulting in a chin laceration needing to be glued, grazed hands and knees and bruising of the shoulder. Don't look like nothing is wrong with the bike and I'm surprised that the carbon wheel on the front didn't disintegrate. Well shaken sitting on the side of the road covered in blood and dazed. It must be on CCTV. Any advice?............Thanks

I need to insure my bike. If I took a separate insurance out with a different insurance company other than the co-op whom I have contents cover with and the bike gets nicked would it affect the renewal quote with the co-op when the renewal is due. If yes then I might as well stick with the co-op @ £64 per annum for £1150 bike. thanks

Am I understanding that the Dia compe levers are interchangeable with different radius bars cause that could be an option.

So I got my Cinelli Vai drop bars for my single speed and forgot that i'll need a 31.8mm brake lever. Looking on the web, Dia Compe Tech 99 gold finger do one from Wiggle @ £19.99. This looks good quality but a little in yer face. Any alternatives you people recommend?

Got them on but looks like they're suited to a kids bike. That could be cause they are described as compact. The 50cm Cannondale I sold a few months ago probably had them on. I'll get used to them.

Just ordered the above for my bike which is a small (52cm) Gazzetta but can't help thinking I could/should of gone wider with a 42cm. I chose the 40cm because the frame is small thinking a 42cm bar would suit a medium frame and a 44cm bar would suit a large frame. Does anyone have these size drop bars and how do they feel?
