NHS don't subsidise prescriptions unless you're over 60, have a disability, on benefits etc.

Guys, how quickly does PBP get booked up? I notice there are staggered pre-registration dates depending on your longest audax in 2018. I'm wondering if a 400km or 600km audax will be enough to pre-register, or should I find a 1000km one.

Those are all good reasons to reduce taxes, particularly fixed ones like council tax and VAT.

So the high earners are paying 8x the tax, and Corbyn proposes to tax them even more.

My point was that high earners should not be taxed more than anybody else. Using percentages already takes their greater ability to pay into account.

And about the cuts - there needs to be cuts to bring down the national debt.

I've spent far more than £85 in taxes on the NHS, but receive no useful service. Maybe inefficient was the wrong word - I should have used 'useless'.

Yes, inefficient. Last time I tried to get an appointment with an NHS doctor, they gave me one the following week during working hours. Instead, I paid £85 for a private doctor and was in and out of there with antibiotics in 5 minutes.
