So in a moment of genius or madness, I'm thinking about buying back my first road bike; a 2010 Trek 1.2. Stripping it and building it with some better parts and in a truly bonkers moment finish with a custom paint job. This would be my first ever build and I'm a total novice at the mechanical side of things
Before I get too carried away I'm trying to find out what BB it has, rather unhelpfully it's not listed here; http://archive.trekbikes.com/gb/en/2010/trek/12#/uk/en/2010/trek/12/details
Anyone able to point me in the right direction?
Thanks! -

Ti is bling though ;-) I like the aesthetic. Oh what wheels are you thinking?
Saw a van Nicholas yesterday, with big old rims!
I'm thinking I'll get two a quick pair and the something more rugged and bombproof. You got the frame for a great price too.
Only downside for me is only one ring on the front. My cycling hopes are, weekend socials, the odd tri, the odd long endurance type thing.
Thing against Canyon is no finance option. Love the stage blue on the disc Ultimate. -

Looks great.
I'm looking to get a bike again, been without for far too long and I really can only get one.
Do you think a budget Ti racer/tourer is the best all rounder you can get?
My bike history is somewhat limited a Trek 1.2 and a Felt F4.
The other leading option is a Canyon Ultimate entry level CF.
Bit of a lame question but I don't know anyone who owns a Ti -

Some general advise, please.
I've just started running again. Over the last three weeks I've run, 7km, 7km, 5km x2 this week two 12km runs. Half way through got new shoes.
My ankle/ calf/ lower shin is sore. I've iced it the last two days and is feeling good.
The million dollar question is due to load or new shoes or something random...? -
I rather like that!
