Previous landlady is not having much luck with replacing me on the contract post moving out. She is now increasing the remaining tenants rent to recuperate her losses. Doesn't affect me but feel bad for those left there. I guess this is legal through some clause or another but its a bit stingey and will probably cause at least one of the tenants to pull out causing more rising rent... so its a vicious circle if your a vicious property owner

Shout out to nick (not on here but hopefully will be following my recommendation) for the much appreciated chat from shepherds Bush to Acton after having two of the worst altercations with drivers I've ever had.
One jumped lights at White city roundabout and cut over two lanes. Looked over to him at the next lights, shook head and mouthed words of warning, to which I received an unprecedented torrent of abuse and anger. Allow it.
Second was a cab, beeping and getting right up behind me, on the outside lane going around shepherds Bush green. Gave him space to overtake and then gave him a stern few words at the next lights.

Everyone's accountable for their own cleaning and no one leaves the facilities we share in an unusable condition like this. Me sorting this out tomorrow night is the fastest way to sort this out but principally not right.
Maybe im seeing this as an act of vindictive aggression (especially the food in the garden) more than just a childish way of getting your own back. Whatever his reasoning behind this is I'm sure the house politics aren't gonna get any better in the near future

Photos are of after the party, before any cleaning up which is yet to take place. And yes that would be his reasoning as I understand it. However whatever mess left by the rest of us is minimal and as there's 6 of us in the house operating on different schedules and timetables etc it's normal that there's always going to be some sort of trace of life left behind. Were tidy people for the most part, his actions are extravagant and have blown shit out of the water

Glad to see this although I never speak highly of Gloucester. Born and lived there for 19 years until moving to London for uni. Parents moving out relatively soon so probably wont have much reason to go back. The Newent Cycle Loop and adjoining Ledbury Loop is a really great ride
