Really appreciate the advice. Not quite ready for pink and green flouro, my wardrobe might argue with that though.
No carbon wheels and not sure it's a bargain but originally was 1200, oval components and wheels with omnium cranks.
It's all a bit new to me having ridden mtb for a couple of decades. I've not wanted to ride roads till I had a go of a mates fixed gear recently, the simplicity appeals.
Cheers for the alternatives I'll check them out. -
Thanks for the reply, yes I am def going to need a front brake at least. I am thinking plenty of practise on quieter roads and Park paths.
I have looked at the site again and it's advertised with brakes, just not shown in the pictures. Although the fork appears to be drilled.
Again thanks for the heads up and advise. -
Hi, looking for a bit of advice. Have been looking for a fixed gear bike to ride on the road for a while. I only ride mtb so far on a regular basis. I would like the extra training and fixed gear holds an interest with me.
Have seen an 2016 Fuji track pro for £700, I like the look of the bike and the parts seem pretty good to me at least. Has anybody here ridden one and could give their opinion? Also could anyone suggest any similar alternatives?
I tried those covers and lost them in minutes, frustrating but managed to get a refund. Speedplay zeros.
