Also @Dick was shifting an Omnium with the full Paradise Cycles Hunderbar setup for exactly this. Might still be happy to split if not snapped up

Bought bbs02 motor direct from here. Said shipped from Germany (although Chinese company) but the tracking froze and didn’t receive parcel for 3 months. Buuut comms were really good and they said it was because they were waiting on a shipment of brake sensors which I kinda believe. When they finally shipped it arrived 10 days later. Price was good and all works.
Didn’t fancy a generic battery/charger fire hazard so bought an Em3ev set (well reviewed by the ebike DIY community over the years ) from eclipse bikes (U.K. stockist).
All in was about £835 for motor and battery. Could probably knock off £50-£100 getting battery direct from em3ev in China.

Rolling on 4 wheels for work at the moment and it’s reassuring to see that car drivers are still jaw droppingly reckless when I’m also behind a wheel. Choice cuts:
- Attempting to overtake 2 cars and a cyclist because I was holding back behind the bike until the blind corner + dip in the road resolved
- Beeping after a swift but controlled stop because of a pedestrian jogging on my side of the country road with car approaching on opposite side
Hopefully me then stopping for a polite but direct chat might make them reconsider their hazard perception. Would hope the same for myself when I inevitably pull some shoddy manoeuvre
