I use a Click with a normal bike (full cassette) but only virtual shifting so the chain is always straight, on the same cog. As the Click is not in the position of your actual shifter it took a bit of getting used to, blindly finding the up or down button with a HR of +185bpm. But now I got the muscle memory and I really like it. It's not groundbreaking but being able to quickly and silently shift anytime you want is nice.

We talked to Strava on Friday, but the outcome is not conclusive yet. It looks like the way maps of the users are shared will be different as long as you use Strava to feed Squadrats with activities. As soon as we know more, we will inform all of you in detail. Thanks for your concerns. In any case: Squadrats aren't going anywhere!

New Wahoo released https://eu.wahoofitness.com/devices/bike-computers/elemnt-ace-buy
No reviews yet, waiting for Rain en GPLama. Might consider it but Karoo 2 is still going. -
Just entered the UU XL event. Their shorter event looked nice the past years but I was looking for something longer. The new XL event seems to tick all my boxes https://utrechtultra.com/

Yes, the quote I posted was from one of Rays comments on the article after the updated Strava one https://press.strava.com/articles/updates-to-stravas-api-agreement

DC R isn't totally convinced
Yeah, their update seems to entirely sidestep things and use a lot of clever language.
At the end of the day, their update DOESN’T say:
A) Coaches can access data of the user (it says coaching apps can provide feedback)
B) AI tools can be used (it says, even more clearly, they can’t), the pretend line between calling it training versus using is absolutely silly, since they are more clear elsewhere you can’t even use machine learning according to their API
C) That apps can use/show data to othersAnd I’d argue the whole 0.1% OF APPS thing is entirely useless metric when you have tens of thousands of registered apps, of which 95% are likely long-abondoned projects for a handful of users by a hobbyist developer.

Ok, looks like Strava is just shit at writing. From the 'No one can use api' updated to 'everythin will be fine'.
No Impact to Most Developers
We recognize that our platform thrives because of the creativity and dedication of third-party developers who build tools to complement and extend Strava’s capabilities. We are steadfast in our commitment to fostering this ecosystem. We anticipate that these changes will affect only a small fraction (less than .1%) of the applications on the Strava platform–the overwhelming majority of existing use cases are still allowed, including coaching platforms focused on providing feedback to users and tools that help users understand their data and performance.

So far I've only seen this on his Strava where he deletes anyone who comments.
For anyone who stumbles upon my activities because of the way the organizer communicates - I ask you to refrain from commenting. I will not communicate this way.
If you feel the need, please write to me objectively and I will explain my side within an appropriate framework. Then they can form an opinion. Everything else is based on hearsay and half-knowledge. Thanks!(Google translate from German)

I really like the RR 900 jerseys of Decathlon that they sold years ago but they don't anymore.
Anyone know a brand/model with these 3 similar features: fabric not too think or thin, a proper collar and sleeves that don't reach to your elbows. Also a bit race-fitty but not sticking to your skin. https://road.cc/content/review/264520-van-rysel-rr-900-short-sleeve-cycling-jersey -

Was a post on squadrats FB last year. Some military compound
https://www.strava.com/activities/8906735452
https://squadrats.com/activity/Eizh8vZbdMqOsWAnZBSTNews from Hel
Karo & Adam have just seized two military-grade squadratinhos 🎖️
We've learned that to collect the first one, they needed to use a technique called "a phone on a stick." While the second one was possible thanks to a method called "running away from the guards."
The location is crucial here. It's Hel. A funny-looking peninsula on the Baltic Sea with a long military history.- We've been mapping Hel for a few years, and except for the Polish President's Holiday Resort, we'll be done with Hel this year. To achieve this, we needed to do a lot walking on beaches, through thickets, and around military areas.

I'm thinking of buying a secondhand SW-R671 shifter to shift at the rear when in the aero bars. I have an older Di2 setup with the external 3 port junction box. Is the cheapest way of getting it in the setup with a Y split cable instead of getting a 5 port junction box?
