I don't know if you got it done or not, but i wouldn't advise Armourtex, they do an ok job, but they will happily paint in your threads etc and the bike will likely need some work afterwards. There arent many options atm. Either you go to mario vaz, who does really nice paintwork, but its not as durable. Or you send it to Argos cycles, who do an excellent job but can take a long time to do it

gotta clarify, its not that exact derailleur i have, that is just the best image i can find. Mine is same model, slightly better condition.

I have campag 980 front and rear mechs + downtube shifters you can have for £75

bit late, but the thing with that paint is it dries super quick, so you have to get the frame uncomfortably close to the nozzle for it to not dry in the air before it gets to the bike

fork looks bent, like its been in a head on collision, check the headtube-downtube and headtube-toptube joints for rippling in the steel. could be a major issue

Does this kinda thing really annoy anyone else, i see this a lot for some reason, people on mobility scooters taking up bike lanes, or "driving" in the middle of a road creating huge traffic jams. I envy how little fucks they give tho

Yeah sounds right, the acid things is so fucked up. Particuarly as the pay off seems so low. To potentially disfigure someone for life for a couple hundred pounds at most... Terriblw to think someone is happy to do that
