Yeah, I remember seeing Ofmega plastic derailers years ago, they blew me away, seemed such a sketchy proposition.
Not nearly as sketchy as the idea of plastic calipers though, although I'm surprised carbon ones aren't more of a boutique thing

Nice.
Smashed my fingernail a few weeks ago, it started coming off, about 70% of it detached. Tickled it with the Dremel and picked all the dried blood out, then applied a layer of super glue, dusted it with bicarb, repeated that a couple of times, then sanded it.
Bingo. It worked

Y Foils are for triathletes only because of the goddamn UCI standing in the way of progress. That's why this is the only Y Foil with a 9/8" steerer and PF30 BB, which IMHO makes this thing porn despite some dodgy components.
Fuck the UCI, because they killed beam bikes.

Looked at those, but I had a hard time ordering one so bit the bullet on the flashy Easton number which was a tad lighter still

Well yeah, obvs, but most of the time you're talking paint too, once you've found a suitable fork... Must be close to ten years ago now, I paid AU$400 for a used Easton Aero in 1".
Still, that's less hassle than replacing a threaded steerer, I guess
