Hello All,
As the title says, I have shamals & a carbon tri-spoke up for grabs. They came from a club TT rider and have had little use as I hope the pics show. A change in circumstances and a broken bike mean that these have to go.
The Shamals are a mismatched set (selling individualy), 1993 clincher front and a 1995 tub rear. Both have C-Record style Shamal hubs and original skewers. He told me that he'd hardly used them, I'm inclined to believe him.
The rear has no braking marks on it at all and and is also fitted with a barely used 8 speed Campag 13-20 cassette, original Campag skewer and a Vittoria tub (slow puncture but I'm leaving it on to protect the rim).
The front has only the slightest braking mark on one side of the rim, comes with the original Campag Skewer and is fitted with a Continental Supersport Ultra 18mm tyre.
The Juna tri-spoke is a tub, retailed by Ozzo. It's fitted with a good Vittoria tub, skewer and a 12-18 7 speed freewheel. Sorry I don't know if these can be converted to front use. The stickers are on top of the carbon, I've left them on as they're original but they can be peeled off.
Prices are collected from Horsham West Sussex or I get to Purley (South London, Zone 6) once a week on a Monday, you could collect from there during the day too. Alternatively I'll deliver to London Victoria or London Bridge if you cover my train fare (£15) or buy any 2 wheels and I'll get the train down at my own cost. I'm loathed to post these so priority goes to anyone that can collect.
Please message me if you need any more details or pics.
Tri-spoke £125 NOW £120 SOLD
Front Shamal £175 NOW £170
Rear Shamal £275 SOLD -

Hello,
I've got up for grabs my Dura Ace 7400 series groupset. This came off my Cliff Shrubb, I bought it used in 2001. It was the previous owner's race bike, I put aerobars on it shortly after I got it and used it for the odd TT until 2008.
It comprises:
Dura Ace 7410 cranks with original 42/52 rings, original logo chainring bolts, original crankbolts with washers & caps
Dura Ace 7402 rear mech with the clear sticker still over the Dura Ace logo, original jockey wheels
Dura Ace 7410 front mech, braze on fit
Dura Ace 8 speed STIs
Dura Ace 7403 brakes with original carriersNot pictured I have an 8 speed Shimano HG (70 from memory) 13-23 cassette, covered about 300 miles.
I can send loads of detailed pics if required. Price for the above group is £350 collected from Horsham West Sussex or I can post for an extra £10. NOW £350 posted for the above
I also have the matching 8 speed hubs with a uniglide cassette and original skewers on Mavic Open CD4 rims if required.
Please PM me if you need any more details, I can send loads more pics of individual components.
Cheers

I had the worst ride ever today (my free hub died, rear mech snapped in half and the gear hanger bent on my lovely frame, sob).
As a result I need a relacement rear mech. Please, please, please does anyone have a long cage 10s Dura Ace rear mech (they made one in the 7800 group) or an Ultegra one?
Cheers

Hello LFGSS,
I'm after a decent 1" quill stem, 120mm would be brilliant but will take a little longer/shorter. I need something flat or with some rise and it needs a cable guide, roller, noodle etc as it's for my Audax bike & I'm running cantis.
Black or silver would be nice but colour isn't important.
Please message me, I'm based in Sussex so would probably need it posting.
Cheers,
Tad

EDIT: Sorry, I wasn't paying attention, you wanted steel, sorry, it's alloy
Bits of it are yellow. 50cmST 54cm TT (coth C/C) With everything you see excluding the wheels for £125 that's frame, fork, Bianchi ITM stem, Campag Chorus head set, Ultegra triple chainset, Ultegra triple front mech, bottle cage, Bianchi saddle, seat post...
I have a crappy wheels for free if wanted, Mavic Aksium rear and a Bontrager Race Lite front. Both rims are very worn but still usable for a wee while.
I have Ultegra 9 speed STIs and Ultegra brakes available too.

Hello folks.
Still clearing out the cave. Today's offer is a 19" 1988 Specialized Stumpjumper, it may not look like it from the pics, but it is. It's been badly rattle canned and has had so many component swaps over the years. It was most recently used as my bad frost/snow hack hence the spiked tyres.
Basically you get everything in the pics excluding the wheels & tyres. Everything works, it's not tidy but it does the job.
EDIT: Now with wheels, I've found a set of shimano something hubs on Mavic something else rims. Hubs will need a strip and regrease but basicaly OK. They even have tubes and tubes that hold air.
Some "higlights"
Frame is 19" measuring: seat tube c/c 50cm, top tube 57cm c/c
Sele San Marco titanium rail saddle
Headset - top race is a Koga Miyata (roller bearing I think) bottom is Shimano Deore XT
Bottom bracket (cup & cone) & MT60 Shimano Deore DX cranks with Biopace rings
Canti front and U-brake rear
Shimano Deore XT brake levers
Shifters are Deore 6 speed SIS but at they can be switched to friction you can use them non indexed to any speeds you want, I used to run 8 speed.
So here's the deal. You collect the bike (Horsham, West Sussex, happy to meet you at the station) then you make a donation (you decide how much for) to the charity that has helped me via the just giving link here:
https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Tad-Kowal
Long story short, I had cancer, it was seriously crap, the Olive Tree Cancer Support Centre helped make it easier. Now I'm a lot better I'm raising some money for them to carry on helping other people.
Full details of my story are in one of my other charity threads here:

I've moved on my old fixed gear bike and 3 frames, the good folks of LFGSS have always been generous. So time to move on something else that I no longer have a use for.
Cheers,
Tad
