For sale I have an XL (22") BMC La Cabra frameset with Cane Creek 40 headset installed by Mike @ BMC before he shipped it. Olive Green colour. Purchased as part fo the first run of these frames but never built up and ive come to realise it’s just not going to happen so best to pass it on. These are $1195 new plus $50 headset plus a few hundred shipping plus Import VAT/duty. Yours for £700 plus postage (UK) which I think is fair all round.

As said above, never built up so as new condition with not a mark on it. Comes with thru axles and headset.

I have a gsd ar 6’7” and the seatpost angle does take away a little space but still plenty of room for 2 kids. I think they get a great view as quite high up despite me being in the way a bit and we have some great chats when out and about - though the storm box when on in winter limits this a bit, as do busy roads/traffic noise.

Yeah it’s a bit dorky for sure - function over form - but makes life a lot easier in the wet and you can chuck all the nursery/school crap in without worry. Will be removed after winter though as easier to talk to kids/for them to get in and out on their own without it. Will see if I can dig out pic later…

Some more anecdata…I replaced my big dummy with the newer GSD earlier this year and use it for 2 x kids daily and it’s been fantastic. Recently added the stormshield set up so they stay nice and dry while I get soaked during a downpour.

Big fan of the big dummy for kid carrying - regularly have my 2 on the back plus scooters and all the crap you need to carry.

If you fancied buying back the 63cm caad you sold me then I’d be happy to sell on - It’s still in fantastic condition. I’ve used it with a columbus tusk straight fork that has been great. 25mm clearance only thought of course. I’m moving to discs so thinking of selling on anyway...
