I’ve found that if I’m having issues with tiz using chrome, switching to safari will usually help. I haven’t tried using it for the tour yet, though.

i believe tiz-cycling.io does live streams, and always uploads the full race afterwards. your next best option is to sign up for the peacock app (nbc). its like $5 a month, and you can cancel at any time. i buy it for the tour and cancel it afterwards.

maap gear is great, imo. i wear the evade pro jersey/bibs, and the sleeves/legs are definitely the longest of any brands i own. the sleeves cover most of my bicep, and the bibs are an inch or so above the knee. that being said, i think the fit and performance is my favorite, by far.

got the zoa and tried out yesterday for the first time while running some errands. in 15ºF with just a t-shirt on underneath, it was more than warm enough, but not stifling like down. very impressed!

question - is condensation/weather a concern at all? i could be set up in a similar situation, but i'm afraid moisture will cause problems on the steel bikes.

piling on the new insulated zoa questions - do these wash well? i'd wear to commute daily in the winter, and would probably need to wash weekly. i can't remember if primaloft is like down - where it'd have to be washed with tennis balls to keep everything from bunching up.

thanks - the consensus seems to be that the performance/quality is top-tier. the pinstripe stuff isn't too bad looking. i believe rapha uses a similar fabric (sans silver thread)? kind of working out whether i want to go fully in on q36.5 or follow the crowd to rapha/maap/santini.

i would just provide all of that information to your credit card company (date of cancellation, date of shipment, shipment rejection, etc) in the form of screenshots. in my experience, all of that evidence will side them with you, and rightfully, your money. that puts the pressure on YT to resolve with DHL to get their money back, with you out of the equation.

yea - exactly. you'll try one thing that won't work and another that will, and you build on what works, going faster and higher :)

biggest recommendation i have is - learn how to pump the lip (which is essentially what you're talking about).

just keep riding and your comfort/skill will come naturally. i've never thought videos helped all that much - its all based on feeling and muscle memory anyways.

as said above, sunday/fairdale make high-quality, affordable bmx cruisers. i would definitely recommend checking one out in person if you can. good people running the company too.

I’d definitely agree with user83744 up there - 20” would definitely feel more twitchy and tight if you’re used to MTB. But, riding 24” and 26” is a completely different feeling, more relaxed, but still feels like a bmx bike.

The trails in that video look like a lot of fun. I would definitely ride there. Maybe take your MTB and see how it goes?

mid-30's 20" bmxer here, and i can say with certainty that riding a 24" or 26" cruiser to, at, and home from a pump track would be much more fun.
