That's a bit unfair. It had (second hand) 10 speed Veloce on it, and Mavic Aksium wheels. It now has (second hand) 9 speed Chorus and a good quality handbuilt wheelset.
Pre 2000 Chorus and Record are very good quality, and hard to find in good condition. If you want to learn about the economics of vintage Campagnolo, just have a look on eBay - i'm not ripping anyone off here.
Did you read the part about the headset? The bike was sold to me with the crown race interface loose. There was no damage to the seat, I measured it. Also, it didn't need Loctite 609, the transition fit on the forks was within limits, but using bearing fit reduces the risk of vibration if the locknut works loose - 609 is used for close clearances, not for repair bodges. Besides, if I had anything to hide, would I have mentioned it at all? If i'd sold you the bike, would you have taken the forks off and checked the fit before handing over your money? I'm being transparent.
The price I quoted is a start point, and you're entitled to your opinions, but I don't think i'll be selling it for £350. Some people are just unkind.

170 / 172.5 / 175.
With or without rings is fine.
Thanks!
