I need a decent single speed winter trainer. Ideally this Pearson in XL:

Why? Well I need to train for an upcoming four day tour and I'm going to get back to fitness the hard way. Stomping the pedals to get up the hills. I don't care what anyone says the best way to get fitness back is short high intensity but frequent training + long rides are in direct conflict to having a wife and offspring.
I'd consider retro, modern or something in-between. Decent frame and components that is not a rat. For size it depends on the back but 58cm and up. And I can pay around £350 but more for a better bike and less of a POS.
Thanks.

First post and sorry if I break any rules. I did read them.
So I'm selling/offering for trade my Dahon Tournado frame, forks, headset, stem, seatpost and the flight case:
http://dahon.com/bikes/tournado/
It's basically a Ritchey breakaway with long reach calipers in lieu of cantilevers. I'll post photos later but I wanted to check if there was any interest.
It's the largest size they did; 58 ctr to ctr (square). How does £500.00 sound?
I'd like to trade ideally for a steel audax or light tourer in the 59 to 62cm range with clearance for at least 28mm tires - WHY? The reason for the sale/trade is that I've foolishly agreed to undertake a 3/4 day credit card tour in France with my father-in-law in May and the Dahon is a little too small for me.
Are you in London?
