That's my friend. he's taken upwards of 200lbs (2 small people) up front and didn't die and will also ride pretty normal up till a decent load, leaning into corners, jumping curbs and riding no handed are fine unlike full cargos which kinda drive like a bus. Definietly gets tippy, but it's a solid as long as you are aware.

Yep fixed that after seeing it in the photo, I was wondering why I was shifting so bad after recently truing the hanger lol.

it was about 60km of road, 5ish of dirt road and 4 hours of ferries then back the same. the geo very comfortable for me personally so I can put in miles, but it's terrifying on trails.

Oh yeah pads are slammed right to the top and it's not optimal, but the difference you need to clear is only about 12.5mm of vertical adjustment (650b = 584mm 26"= 559mm).

the 42c I'm running makes the entire wheel diameter about equal to a 26x2, so geo isn't effected too much either.

Yep, there's a few canti options (I'm using tektro cr720s) or you can splurge for Paul motolites which will apparently let you fit all the way up to a 700c in a 26 frame. But since I got this frame for $20, I didn't really want to spend 10x as much on the brakes alone.

26>650b conversion I just finished up for camping in the summer, frame bag currently being made & 10 speed friction is Ludicrous.

Got bored of gears and real brakes, built the beater up for the 7th or so time on a 2-speed coaster hub.

Saw this.... Thing the other day. rack is being held up only by the legs, which seems a tad dangerous considering it's only going to fall forwards. If it loosens up.

I was under the impression these did kinda slide when I bought them. They do slide but it's so just awkward that pulling one of the bikes on the ends or the silver one in the center off first to let me lean some and make space is just easier.

I am so happy with my Fasttrack rack setup, currently have 7 bikes in 7.5 feet of horizontal space bar end to bar end. getting them out ain't much fun though.

Karate monkey fork someone welded a new crown with a 1" steerer onto and adjusted the angle in the process. better when loaded to a point, but then I start worrying about the integrity. It's not bad enough you can't get used to it after a couple minutes, but I wouldn't say it handles amazingly, very divey.

It's.... Interesting, fork was made for track/road bikes, not super old MTB geo which handles pretty bad on its own.

4th iteration of this bike since I got it, absolutely loving it, dad bikes rock.

Not sure, bought it off a friend for cheap and he didn't know either.

As for the fender stays, I need to take the fenders off and adjust them a bit more so just waiting till I get around to that.

Got a GTB, so this is no longer my "good" track bike, rebuilt it as a proper PNW winter workhorse and honestly, I don't think its ever looked as good as it does now.

So I ended up with this... thing.

It's comically small, but the frame is from a limited run art series between the graffiti artist MISK and BE.bike or something like that, so I guess I'll keep it. Main goal ATM is de-uglifying it and forcing it to fit me, because why not.
