Hi there, have you still got these 1” headsets?

My mavic freehub has stopped engaging after less than a year and I suspect it just needs a clean so i am loathe to take it to LBS - can anyone lend me a lock ring tool and a chain whip for a few days so I can take it apart and see what the problem is?

Any tips/links for repairing an amp or getting one repaired?

I got an Arcam 3 Alpha (1994!) for £50 off eBay last year but recently the right channel is crackling and dropping in and out. The few places I have enquired are suggesting that repair will be in the region of £85 (or£60/hour at audio gold). I appreciate the skills required and the lack of skill;ed people to do the work but I need a cheaper option and I am keen not to dispose of this for what seems like a minor issue.
