Thanks for the input dude! Yeah I've heard this is fairly common with ellipses. Other than that they were such great wheels.

Front wheel is provisionally sold, I'll update this if it falls through.

The axle itself is stripped so it's not possible to tighten the nuts. It's obviously a common problem if you over tighten, but seems like a lot of people have had this issue with the ellipses especially. What dyou mean by rear cone?

Mavic ellipse wheel set with loads of life left in them although the axel on the rear wheel has stripped and is fused into the hub. I couldn't manage to get it out and neither could the guy in Brixton Cycles, but you're welcome to take a punt on the wheel and try for yourself as I've got a new rear axel.

Nothing wrong with the front wheel at all, still super solid and true.

I was trying out cages and straps so bought the below. Quickly decided they're not for me so both have hardly been used:
BLB track pedals in black - hardly used, excellent condition, £25
BLB metal double braced cages in black - again hardly used and excellent condition, £10

Miche Primato Crankset incl BB SOLD (non miche, got Brixton Cycles to replace it as the miche one was dreadful) in black - used for about 6 months commuting with no long rides, good condition £50 - disclaimer on this - there was a slight squeaking coming from the crankset since I got it new, it never caused any problems other than annoying me a little. I suppose you get what you pay for and price is to reflect this.

This is still for sale as dibs fell through. I now also have an unlock code from Vodafone so it can be used on any network.

iPhone 6S 64gb in space grey, as you can see the screen is pretty cracked, other than that works fine and no other issues, still really fast. Battery life is still decent too! I've just wiped it so it's good to go.
