Guys it's for sale (frame only): 56cm c-c SLX. Paint by Carlo Dossena. It's a bit scuffed, one of the decal sides is peeling a bit, but all in all still a fantastic ride. The front derailleur hanger had been damaged and re-welded, and so there is black enamel paint covering that section of the seat tube downward, hardly noticeable. There are multiple photos of this bike on the 'Società Sancineto' thread, check them out. Buy the frame before I change my mind. £300 + shipping

1991 Basso Astra in EL - the best vintage frame ever produced and the best ride you will ever experience. This is the exact frame tested in Cycling Plus Magazine in Oct. 1992 (photo of serial number proves it) and if you buy it, I'll throw in a copy of this issue.
The frame has many superficial scratches and a very tiny dent on the top tube, just near the 'Astra' decal. It is currently built up with a Campy Chorus triple 9 groupset which has seen some use over the years, and has some quirks. PM for description and more photos.
I'm willing to sell the frame alone for £300 shipped or the whole bike for £600. I will keep my Brooks/seatpost and Itm Stem/bars, swapping them for something generic. Interested in trades for similar era Columbus frames and or Campy stuff.

Testing the waters with this excellent Sancineto MAX frame.
56cm c-c (also stamped on the bottom bracket), the fork seems to be the same as Sancineto's EL. It’s the best ride I’ve ever owned, but it has perhaps the worst paint. I’ve tried to capture all of the problem spots, but they are numerous. Surprisingly, there no dents. I'm not sure about rust, but there is only a few spots on the surface. This would make a bargain frame for someone who wants to try out the incredible handling qualities of a Sancineto MAX, but doesn’t want to break the bank. Or give it a respray. Alternately, it could be built into the raddest rat rod in London.https://www.flickr.com/gp/152183182@N06/aegsFa
I’d like 300 quid + shipping. I would also like to keep my groupset and wheels, but could be persuaded to give it up for another 300. It, like the frame, has its quirks, so you might be better off sourcing your own. Can be viewed (built up) in Oxford.
