This is the only one I can get to at the moment. It's currently running big fat Schwalbe Big Apples but for this ride I was running some knobblies as I did a 40 mile round trip offroad commute to work on it, that was hard work!
It's still got quite a few of the standard items on it but the Surly open bar is my favourite addition, it works really well with the bike in my opinion.

Despite doing up the bolts super-tight like HeMan has done it, the wheel still keeps pulling over slightly on my pomp when I give it some welly. Has anyone got any suggestions for something like a surly tugnut I could fit?
I like the look of the tugnut and surly stuff is usually pretty bombproof but I think it's going to interfere with the rack mounting potentially?

So I decided I could stretch to a new hub on the back for my wheel build and I got myself a new Novatech one ( https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/hubs-other/novatec-fixed-free-rear-hub-black-32-hole/ ) As it already came with a lockring, new bearings etc.
It says it needs a cog which is - 1.37" and 1.37/1.29". I'm assuming the first 1.37" is the freewheel side and the 1.37/1.29" is the fixed cog and lockring accordingly.
Looking at some fixed cogs such as this: http://www.wiggle.co.uk/brand-x-13t-20t-fixed-gear-track-sprocket-18/ they are down as 1.375" Is this the same and Novatech have just rounded the number down or is it a totally different size? I don't want to end up stripping the thread.
Many thanks
Paul

I'm after a rear fixed wheel 120mm hub with a wide rim. It's for my hack bike so I don't want anything too pricey. The cheapest I've seen is on santafixie which is an HPLUS son archetype in 23mm width but it's a bit too much at £130. All the skinny rimmed wheels are about 50-60 quid. Does anyone have any suggestions for a lower cost alternative for the HPLUS son build?
Thanks

It's actually from a cannondale CAADX, this one: https://www.cxmagazine.com/cannondale-2013-superx-caadx-cyclocross-bikes-disc-brakes
I think it's a couple of mm longer but the rake etc is the same -

I've got a Trek Domane, which has quite a high front end. As I've got a bit more flexible I've gradually removed spacers and now I can't go any further. It's got a weird tapered cap on it, can it be replaced with a flat one so I can go down another 2omm? If so any ideas what the part would be? Steerer is a standard 1 1/8"
Thanks, I usually tow the kids trailer about on it but it's just great for a ride when you don;t have to be anywhere fast. I have lots of things that go fast, this one encourages you to take it easy, chill and enjoy yourself. It can go quick if you need it to though :-)
