Hi Lemonade, what fork are you using on that? I want to upgrade mine to a disk but still retain a decent tyre clearance as I'm using 32mm XN Pros as it gets a bit of offroad action from time-to-time

That Cipollini style cannondale is 100 times cooler than that soppy bollocks money spending exercise. They should have just put normal shifters on so you can ride the bloody thing

Just tried the planet X framebag. Doesn't fit on the pompino, straps are too long for the skinny tubes. Shame as otherwise it's perfect and a good price.

I've actually got a planet x one but it means I can't use my frame fit pump which I do really like. May have one consider using the planet x frame bag and going back to the mini pump

Thanks. It's not a super fast bike but it is comfy. It's going to be good for all day rides.

Yeah I think a top tube bag would be ideal but it's just the top routed cable that's going to mess that up.

Hopefully a feedbag would also be useful for the commute. Easy to find my keys when I get home rather than fumbling around in my panniers!

Ah cool. I'll be using it with drops, I do ride out of the saddle quite a bit on climbs so hopefully I won't bang into it.

Are many people on here using Stem bags like the alpkit stem cells? I was thinking of using one for storing an external battery pack and a couple of other bits.

Do they move around much and is the alpkit one any good? I've seen some made from climbers chalk holding bags but for about a tenner extra for the real thing I can't be bothered with the hassle trying to sew straps on one!

The service at planet x used to be shocking. I've bought a few bits from there recently and the service has been the best I've had. There was a minor mistake on the order which they responded to quickly and professionally. It's like they've brought someone in to sort out the customer service. Night and day...

How tight does the chain need to be? I've not really done much urban riding on a fixed gear, mostly on the track or round where I am there are no traffic lights, quiet roads and I barely ever have to stop to be honest.

I've always run a bit of track slack and not had any problems, is it a safety thing for when you have to slam the anchors on or something?

Just discovered this. Damn, that bike. How can you ride on the hoods? Those cables? That bar tape? The rear disc caliper? What's the point in making something and boasting about it if it's unridable?

My Frankenbike made up of old toot out of the garage is a more coherent steed. And I'm not a Fintec, whatever the fook that is.
