Frame has plenty of marks, I've pictured the worst, it's not a Sunday best bike but it's a rock solid agile, stiff training frame and builds into a 7.5kg bike easily with half decent bits (I used sram force & ksyriums). My luggage scales had all of the above @ 2.7kg.

Never used 'ones' but for me they're too £££ for winter/commuter, as above I still swear by wiggles lifeline road armour - cheap, grippy, durable. If going schwalbe I'd be looking at Duranos for commuter duties.

If you want marathon style tyres but less wooden, get Duranos, I think they do a 'double defence' version, many people recommend them as particularly puncture resistant road tyres.

If you've pumped it up to say 100psi at least and it's still not sitting right, pumping it up more wont help. Best case, nothing changes, worst case, tyre or tube blow out. Whenever I've had a bulge in my tyre or the bead not seated correctly I've noticed almost straight away, with maybe only 30-40psi in the tube, refitting has always solved it.

By all means take it to the bike shop and see i they can reinstall it to make it fit, if it still won't go I'd suggest either tyre, tube or rim is defective.

Have you tried marking the point on the tyre / tube where it happens and swapping the tyres between the two wheels and seeing if the problem follows the tyre or stays in the same place on the rim etc?

For £ Lifeline road armour, no punctures as yet after what must be a couple of thousand Ks, pulled a dirty bit of Flint out of my front yesterday and rode it 50k home, no issues! Great grip, I hit all the same ice everyone else I did and stayed upright and £14 a tyre.

Looking for a small tarck frame. Reach in the 375 ballpark which almost always means a TT of around 51-52.

An xs Planet X track would be ace, or langster pro, an older vigorelli, track champ etc.

Would buy a pre cursa but even the 50 has too long reach, T-Rex troubles.
