Good to know thanks.
Unfortunately I've got an s24. But given everything else I own is apple now I might finally consider switching.
I've always just said I use the one that's best for me (Mac>>>PC apart from gaming, and android>>iPhone), but now I hardly use the customisation of android and don't root etc. the benefits are diminishing

New M4 Mac mini set up. Realised the lack of a webcam will be slightly irritating but it runs so smoothly compared to the old 2015 MBP 15"that I'll take it...
Nice to have the power to game (Mon intensive stuff like Minecraft/wow) so that deciding not to is a choice, not enforced on me!
The 256gb is a bit of a killer so wont be long until a decent external drive comes

You actually made me decide to up the squat today despite my knees being a bit iffy so thanks! As you say, the deload weeks are coming...
Squats 110 3x5 previously to 5x 112, 114, 118 (all only to 95° as per previous post). Definitely more in the tank if the knees will allow me.
Deads + sumo DL up 5kg to 125x5
Now no matter how the Xmas period goes I'll be happy.
Just waiting on the meniscal surgery confirmed to be early next year to get back to full ROM and running

I wonder if this is the same for strength rather than just hypertrophy (size).
Also worth bearing in mind established sets for hypertrophy were never that high. (3x8-12 typically). So is it actually just saying there's no point smashing 2 extra sets when tired?
Tempting to change to 3x a week for strength, but I really just don't have the time at the moment and not sure my body would recover with the cycling on top.

Cheers... Yeah I'm a physio (not sports) and I discussed with a physio with loads of experience in high end sport. He said it's pretty much the only meniscus injury he wouldn't just ignore and pound the strength work.
I can't complain too much though because all I can't do is run (really at all without irritating it hugely) or do yoga positions like hero (knees fully bent with bodyweight on them).
Hence finding myself back in this thread. Long may I remain.
These were the treat to encourage me. Would fully recommend fractional plates to all, lovely to not have 1.25kg plates as the smallest jump, especially for things like overhead press.

Super envious of some of the numbers in this thread...
I'm slowly working my way back to strength. Sadly physio has said no deep squats as I have a lateral meniscal tear awaiting repair so pretty much the only time it's advisable to not hit depth.
Mobility, squats 3x5 110kg to 95ish degrees, 1x5x120 DL then same sumo DL, 3x5x52kg OHP, bent over rows, pull ups and tiny bit of core.
It's lovely slowly getting stronger and my bike sprint in the club ride has gone from my weakest to strongest point over the last year, it's massively noticeable.
Slightly sad that my VO2 is hardly increasing due to the muscle and creatine weight but hey ho

I picked up @ChasnotRobert 's gyuto from my cousin's house finally... Was slightly dull (from long term storage I imagine), but after <2mins on a whetstone with almost no practice its now 100x better than any other knife I own - big thanks!
Not sure about the Gyuto shape but definitely a convert to good quality Japanese knives. On the hunt for a similar quality Santoku / Bunto and a Naikiri now.
In love with the look of these Niwaki knives. Any others that are better value currently?

So I haven't ridden my 2017 supersix disc (1st gen) since January.
I was knocked off it and it was written off due to a fucked creaky BB - scanned and no structural damage - but the shop were just unable to fix the creak.
I bought the parts as it was my favourite ever bike and intend to put it on a wall.
Rode it this morning as my other bike is being serviced and just forgot how brilliant it is. Incredible ride, comfy, fast, great handling. With DI2 it would be my perfect bike.
Long story short, if anyone sees one or a hi mod in a 60 let me know...
Cannondale for life, apart from the stupid as duck PF30A and QR rear disc.

Thanks @Chopsicle for the great idea all those years ago. It's got me out for at least 2-3x the distance I would've otherwise managed in this neverending fog. There's decent pace club rides every day as a result of the f500, it's great seeing so many invested.
2 imperial 100s on the 24+26th, a metric 100 27th and I'll finish the final 50 odd km tomorrow.
500+/7000km this year in 6 days. I really need more base training...
