Just to make it short: bought wrong rims (3x), kept them in my cellar. Now I need the moneyz to buy the "right" rims.

Location: Germany. Have to figure out shipping to U.K.

60€ per rim so: 180€ plus shipping.

USB cable out, plugging into a computer, etc.

I thin that would be too much hassle for me. I'd like to keep it simple.

Garmin on device routing is the worst possible option and I would always pre load a gpx file for a route

How useable are "old" GPS-devices in 2022?

I was looking into devices like: Vista HCx (really cheap), eTrex 10/20x or a GPSmap 62 (64 is too much $$$).

I'd get the maps from OSM. Everything I really need is typing in an address and then follow a route (I dont need turn-by-turn instructions, as long as I can see a map).

It would be Lightroom 5 or 6.

But first check the documentation: you need to know if your camera is supported.

Why not getting an older version of LR?

I tried nearly everything and just kept going back to LR. Just get a regular (older) version without all the cloud and subscription-bs.

Edit: if your camera still supports it: Aperture (and you got a mac).

Thanks for the comment. Very similar it turns out. I'm keeping half an eye out for a large frame, so may be swapping everything over at some point. Still thinking hydro brakes would be nice, but I said that 6 years(!) ago.
