Garage conversion means the garage door and electric motor that opens and closes it are surplus to requirements. On the basis the gagarge door isn't likley to fit and its a bugger to transport I am selling the electric motor on it's own.

It's in KT7 and will be operatioanal for probably for another two weeks if you want to see it working.

Hi all - re-doing the house and looking at putting a section of tiles in the kitchen area. We quite like the version used in the image below but hours of tile scrolling has failed to find them. There are few "busier" versions but not these simpler ones.

So having bought this with some grand plans in mind the reality has been that it's still in the garage in the same state that it was purchased (see pics above) and needs to go before anything else can be bought.

Your flat - as long as it's returned with a lock the same as it was received then there is no issue.

One of the principles of a lease is that the tenant has "quite enjoyment" of the space that the lease covers. Having decorators in the house does not constitute quite enjoyment and even less so if you can not even occupy at the same time. LL can not charge you rent if you do not have the benefits that that the lease automatically provides to the tenants. They either cover your additional costs for the time you are out or you don't pay rent.

If it's not done yet, change the locks.

It frames your legal rights as a tenant not just what's in the written document so worth reviewing and / or getting Citizens Advice guidance.

Depending on how much the deposit is, it may be best to figure an exit strategy as the LL and agent sound crap.

Also, make notes of time and dates of the fuck up's and take time stamped photo's.

Change the locks.
