Light and fun GT Zaskar. Pretty sure it’s a medium 16” frame. Anodised ink blue - looks kind of purple. I’ve had this for over 20 years in various forms since Hans Rey and Martin Ashton were the apples of my eye.

Lots of scratches and prob a few minor dings but don’t think there’s anything major.

Built up as a single speed. Very ratty. Mixture of parts, some XT some LX. Fizik saddle. Old school interesting orange alloy fork with back facing brake mounts. Cannondale crossbar riser handlebars with a nice bit of sweep.

First few Bb frame threads are worn on drive side but it’s fitted with a 22/24mm bolt through sram crank with gap conversion collar on an external cup shimano saint bb so works fine. You couldn’t use an internal cup bb and crank without rethreading.

Nice fun rat bike or project. I saw a guy who’d fitted 650b to a Zaskar with drop bars the other day and it was amazing.

Reluctantly selling so I can buy a Dynamo front wheel.

30.9mm post, approx 125mm drop, approx 380mm bottom of post to seat clamp.
Lever operation. (I wanted to remove it when locking bike). You can use it with a remote but not supplied.

Wear: Clamp area has wear to the grooves but can still tighten to clamp a seat and you could file this a bit if desired. Lever is bent to the right side slightly as I'm right handed.

Goes up and down fairly smoothly with me pushing it, should be loads smoother actually on a bike - been in a cupboard for a year and was fine when I took it off the bike.

Got some tubeless halo gravel tyres on my other set - clearances on the mudgaurds are huge though as I step down from 2.2 inch to 38mm.

Thats a decent price. I keep buying bars as I love the cross brace look but so many of the ones I've had are really wonky and interfer with my lights - also non are as comfy as my £20 moto x bars!

Have they got any flex in? I've got some old moto bars but the shimming is a pain as they are 22.2mm. However, everytime I switch back to alloy they feel horrible. Def enjoying the steel flex but don't want to drop £75 on another set if they are solid.

i possibly joined a honey badgers ride in epping years ago. I can't remember. Anyway, I'll tag along if thats cool. Currently attempting to bed in a poorly assembled tubeless set up so will peel off if it keeps failing.

DMR half flange deathgrips. I'm going to put some ergos on for the miles tho. Bar is a motocross ebay thing. I've got the same one on a few of my builds and after riding that back/up sweep everything else feels really uncomfortable. Plus it was only £15 and I can't justify spending £75 on a Surly Sunrise.

I had a practice pack/run with my new Krampus build. Feels surprisingly agile. I only have a -10øC rated sleeping bag which is prob a bit overkill for this warm weather and making me need a huge bag up front.
