Ah this could be perfect, let me double check the frame as the clearances aren't great, so wouldn't really be able to run more than a 28 (although I guess the rims shouldn't make too much of a difference there). Am in SE as well.

Edit: The internet seems to think running a 28 on rims that wide might be an issue, does anyone have any experience with this?

Anyone serviced an SP Dynamo hub? This one seems to squeak a bit when it’s spinning slow

Yeah it fit the 40mm 650b tyres with miles to spare, random internet forums seem to say up to 2” fits

Built up the frame from @platypus, needs some finishing touches (looking for dynamo lights, and tips on how to fully seat a fork crown race that’s a bit tight haha)

This any good? There's a single speed freewheel on the wheelset as well so would just need a rear brake to make it SS instead of fixed. Can remove/include whatever array of parts you see here

Fair, it does have mudguard mounts but I can't recall whether it has rack mounts too (I'd imagine not)
