I'm ok with a partially external cable routing.
The only issue with having no holes at all is you will have to run the L to R e-wire under your stem, would look a touch shit.
Also from the images in the RS910 manual, i think Shimano expect you to run the L to RS910 wire along the outside of the bar, then drill a small hole in order to enter the bar near the bar end plug -

I decided to admit I might be wrong about my SLR Superflow last week and plunge on an SMP Dynamic.
The former had become more and more painful over the last year and I had started to feel like the numbness/ache was impacting performance. For a long time, I had been resistant to admitting I had made a poor decision, choosing it over the SMP.
The latter is more padded than the SLR from the get go, so its expected to be more comfortable, but. the. SHAPE! These saddles are amazing, I feel like the swooping arch keeps me in position (having always found myself slide forward to the rivet whenever I increased power/used drops).
My only ache came 2 hrs in to a ride and appeared quite distinctly just above my glutes, indicating to me that having the saddle level was holding my pelvis in too vertical a rotation. Thanks to this thread and Steve Hogg: i knew to expect this; had my spanner with me; and quickly rotated the saddle forward slightly. Back ache gone immediately relieved, rest of ride perfect.
Thank you to all of the evangelists here! -

I thought the whole "riding along" in zwift thing would be attractive but it does nothing for me in comparison to the training sessions. Something about an upcoming red gate followed by a much needed grey one and floods of XP that really works wonders imo.
Currently getting 3-4 hrs in a week depending on how often i can go outside due to a 6 month old. -

Appending to previous sentiments about people in employment not taking advantage of sick days. I spend most of my days in "Project room's" where the space gets cramped and people inevitably work late into the night due to resourcing/sensitivity issues. People always get sick but then their martyr complex shines through and they don't go home and/or medicate, so then everyone gets a bit sick. I've seen projects completely grind to a halt because of this whilst full teams go home.

I've got new wheels coming in the next few weeks and highly tempted by the 26mm Turbo Cottons. However, In 7,000 km I've not yet had a puncture with 25mm GP4000IIs and have gotten complacent enough to leave my tools/gas at home lately.
Considering above comments about Durability am I to be sorely disappointed?
My old wheels are 11mm wide internally requiring a good 110+ PSI for effective use, is high pressure having a positive effect on my durability?
New wheels are a lot wider allowing for lower pressures and hopefully a bit more comfort. -

oh ok the photos do seem to confirm that.
My reason for doubting was that i'd seen the 'DA Only' stuff on weightweenies and other places, but my 6870 shifter seems to have 3 ports and I don't know why they wouldn't be functional. I would have preferred to use 3 separate wires rather than the Y Cable personally so it annoyed me.
