There is a guy who may well be living in my building on City Road by the looks of where his rides start/end. He has over 600 KOMS, most of which seem to be around Central London. Far from middle of nowhere.
I took one of his KOMs a while ago and after reading this checked my other 3, sure enough he has begun to attack one of them in the last month.
This for me is actually what i thought the point of Strava was. I love that we have a competition going but have never met. -

This is known as 'Framing' in psychology and behavioural economics.
Credit Card Fees were once all told to the customer and seen as a tax on using credit card which nobody feels good about, the way it was resolved was by instead referring to that tax as a discount to those people using debit cards. In modern times there normally isn't any difference like you say, but this is the way it was combatted originally. This way, people don't feel hard done by using their credit card at all and continue to use it over the debit card. -

Mmm maybe, but then maybe they say the same kind of thing about he ergo being shorter than listed? I definitely found aeronova a lot longer than ergonova for what it's worth.
Sounds good to me mate, it's what I did, only I used the one to one junction instead of wireless unit and hid it away inside my frame. -
Pretty sure the reach on aeronova is 110mm or 130mm? The junction point definitely isn't far enough along to be inside the bar, instead you can nestle it in the bar opening. Also it takes some time to wire up the bar. I used a cable outer with a kink at the tip to force my way around all the corners pulling string with it, then taped the ewires to string and pull back through.
Along with fitting your brake cable outers it's a good 2-4hrs work depending on your luck, worth it in the end.
Finally, the bars do bend, if you tape your cable down too tight trying to put the Y plastic as far into the bar as you can, it will probably disconnect from the shifter (in my experience) -
James,
I have fitted the Y to these bars and due to the long reach on them I don't think you can get an ideal fit with even the longest of the Y cables
You end up with a tight fit from shifter to shifter and a Chunk of excess on the shorter side as it goes through the drop. The trouble is that the plastic on the Y join is quite bulky so you will end up with that being noticeable through your bar tape.
(Not the end of the world, I am
living with it quite comfortably)
I'm pretty sure those 9170 shifters will have 3 ew ports each, just use one as a master, get the right length ew for Junction to Master and then again for master to secondary shifter using second port. Much tidier! -

100 computational resources is where you release the drones I think? Ok yeah so now you’re interplanetary no?
