Got some more tires for sale after a bit of an experiment.
Basically I was running the Maxxis tires and thought I'd go and try a set of big squishy 2.6" tires. Did one ride and had the rear tire buzzing the inside of my frame when cornering. Went home, used nail clippers to painstakingly trim the side knobs a bit, did a second ride, no buzzing. Did a third much longer ride, realised I prefer 2.3" tires, purchased Conti trail kings.
So there you have it, I have 4 tires to get rid of. All tires were run tubeless so they will have a bit of gunk in them.
Maxxis Minon DHF (3C EXO TR) 27.5 x 2.3" - Great condition, 90+% of life left - £20.
Maxxis High Roller II (3C EXO TR) 27.5 x 2.3" - Good condition, 60% of life left - £10.
Pair of Vittoria Barzo (Wired) 27.5 x 2.6" - Near new condition, only out for 3 rides, side knobs trimmed a little on one of the tires (see pics) - £25 for the pair.
(the tire on the right is that one that has had a bit of trimming, not much, just enough to get rid of the buzzing!)Collect for the Olympic Velodrome E20 or can ship at buyer's cost. Cheers.

Hello fellow concerned commuters and cycling activists.
I'm currently working on an idea that is looking to reduce bike crime in large cities through the use of a smart network of bike locks. Think of it like Boris-bike docks that normal bikes can use, but with better security, CCTV, insurance, and free to use.
It is still pretty early stage and I'm trying to prove out the idea, so I have a quick 30 second (it really is very short!) questionnaire to help gauge demand that I need help with:
GoVelo.typeform.com/to/cux7UOCm
It doesn't ask any personal questions and is 100% anonymous. Feel free to pass it around, the more answers I can get the stronger a case I can make :)
Thanks in advance!

Nice light stiff road bars, 218g for those counting, lovely carbon weave visible through the lacquer.
Never ridden in anger or crashed, these were user for longer distance riding before I discovered the wonders of flared bars. Really good condition.

Great steel frame + possibly the best carbon forks = awesome long distance bike.I think the brands Salsa and ENVE need no intro here, you know what you're getting. So let's talk about the condition of the frame and fork.
I've ridden this frame fork combo in a range of countries doing all sorts of rides in various builds. The latest was 1000K around Taiwan last November.
I'll do my best to highlight the scratches in the photos, but the main takeaway is that they are cosmetic and the bike itself has never been crashed, so everything is structurally sound and dent / crack free :)
no noticeable scratches at a short distance
yup, still good
zooming in, slight scuffs on fork resolving
BB and chainstays are surprisingly undamaged, but there are some disc rotor scratches from some slightly ham fisted rear wheel insertions
seatstays have chips to the paint where a pannier rack was rubbing, this is probably the worst damage on the bike
drive side seatstay has scratches down it from when the bike fell over whist leaning against a wall
dropouts have some surface rust, but no real scratches
closeups of the forks' scuffs and small chips. Nothing major. So there you have it, not new, but not bad. It is a 58cm frame, Geo data here. Comes with the matching Salsa seat clamp and a GXP BB hat has some life left.
I'm looking for £450 for the lot.
Collection from London E15 (Olympic Velodrome area) or postage within Europe at buyers expense.

Awesome frame needing a new home :)

Purchased a Giant Avail Pro last spring for my wife, but the colour was pretty gash, so I lovingly stripped the paintwork off and sanded the entire thing down to the carbon. It was then lacquered with proper 2k stuff and she loved it...for about 12 months.
Now Titanium gravel bikes are all the rage and I have to sell this beautiful frame that I spent the best part of 2 weeks sanding. I'm not mad, just disappointed.
Anyway, here is a link to the original bike so you can admire the terrible original paintwork: https://www.liv-cycling.com/gb/avail-advanced-pro
And here is what it looks like now:
Fukken awesome, I know. I really don't understand why felt the need to paint it cell-block gray.
I'm selling the frame with a Cane Creek headset and Shimano BB, both of which have a tonne of life left. The frame has the full internal tubes to make getting gear cables routed a breeze. It has never been crashed and other than some paint chips around the aluminium dropouts / brake mounts it is in great condition.
It's hard to see in the images but there are some areas where the lacquer is less smooth than others, it can be polished down to perfect smoothness but I just never got round to it.
So there you have it, a perfect frame for a bling ladies custom build. It's a Medium frame which according to giant is a 54cm, full geo data can be found on the giant site link above.
I'm looking for £450 for it, but may be open to offers...
Collection from London E15 is preferred, but I'm also willing to post at the buyer's expense.
Pair of decent commute tires (with tubes) up for grabs:
pair of Conti City Ride 700 x 32c - Good condition 70% life left - £5 for the pair!
Collect form the Olympic Velodrome E20.
