Any chance anyone has come across one of these before? After removing the spray paint, it had areas of a metallic red and gold powdercoat underneath.
Frame Details:
- Super Vitus 980 tubing
- Bottom bracket is stamped RGF (Raccords Gargatte Freres)
- Bocama Lugs (BCM Stamp)
- English threaded BB
- 26.6 seat tube
- Appears to have CWI 2008 11 stamped on the fork steerer
I'm guessing from the tubing that it is most likely French but would greatly appreciate any suggestions regarding the make.

Fair point but if i'm thinking of the same wheelset you're referring to then they had cosmetic damage to them with break pad wear to the rims etc. These have never seen a brake/been damaged so for me is worth the extra amount. I've just seen another pair on the forum in a similar condition for £230 so knocked a tenner off to match.

MOVED
Dura Ace 7600 hubs, 32 spoke laced to Mavic Open Pro Gunmetal clincher rims (120/110 spacing). Comes complete with 18T cog and Dura Ace lockring.
£230With tubes/Continental Ultra Sport II Folding tyres (700 x 25mm) as pictured.
£250Overall in near mint condition cosmetically, the wheels run smooth and true, although if you are a perfectionist the front could do with a re-grease to get it like new. Cog and lockring were installed 3 months ago so have little wear. Tyres have had 3 months light use so plenty of miles left in them.
Ideally not looking to post so collection from Hackney preferred although will consider at an additional cost if it's a deal breaker.
Thank you for the answers everyone. The lug work does look similar to some of the old Gitane frames but I haven't seen one with such a detailed fork crown with the three circles detail. They seem to crop up across a few people like Waterford, Gunnar, Burls and Torelli as a 'Classic Track Fork'.
