The wall being flat is one thing, but they should really have built up the sill to allow a level installation. Very lazy on their side but I am sure they will begrudgingly repair when you suggest getting someone else to complete their work and look to chip them for that amount.

Signing in. Had been relatively good until summer '23 when a holiday followed by a very enjoyable break away from any real exercise became the norm which when paired with a relentless December has been the aversion therapy needed to get me back to it.

Plan:
2nd day of 16/8 intermittent fasting primarily as a way to curb late-night snacking/beers. Planning to get back on the rowing machine which has been my time-constrained choice of cardio, and back on the bike which has been a long time coming. Going to throw in some weights for shits and giggles as well.

As in floor joints won't line through with wall joints?

It is near certain that you're bathroom walls will not be perfectly perpendicular so without throwing lots of money at this to fully correct and dub them out, it will be near impossible to get alignment working all the way around. Better to have the floor/wall alignment off all around rather than 95% there with the imperfections being glaringly obvious.

I set our bathroom out based on 97x97cm white square tiles trying to avoid/minimise cut tiles and it's a fool's errand!

It’s such a pointless attack. It’s completely without merit and not exactly like its removal would have allowed a development of some kind (like the equally sad demolition of the Crooked House pub).

It’s the whole premeditated thing that gets me. I went to Acme Fire Cult recently and I can't remember the last meal/dining experience I've had like it. Incredible food which paired with a pretty amazing space well off the main road and beers from the adjoining 40ft Brewery resulted in 'vibes'. Perfect for entertaining guests!

The Queen's Arms is a 10 minute walk and is quite a charming pub (or at least it was when I was there ~5years ago!).
