Mavic Ellipse Wheelset.
Run smooth and true.
Some use of brakes has taken some of the paint off the breaking surfaces.

Anyone got any links or advice about servicing a rear Mavic Ellipse hub? Bearings feel a little rough so want to put new ones in. I’ve found a video on YT showing front hub servicing. Also found the schematic on the Mavic website, but looking for advice.

I don’t want to mess it up as it’s an expensive wheelset!

Decided I’m going to keep these

Used for a few rides at the end of summer but I’m going to size down and grab something lighter too.

I’ve inspected both tyres and couldn’t see any cuts or nicks at all.

Wear indicator marks clearly visible.
